This is kinda game related.. because it's in CoV, I guess, but I'm not really talking about the game...

Now that the Nondisclosure Agreement has been lifted, I can FINALLY show off my CoV toon. Yes, I've been beta testing for the past few months, tho I havent had much play time because real life is still taking up a lot of time. But that's why I havent been in City at ALL. Anyway, this is Teknika. I started a Villain Group named the Buccaneers, go figure, and named all my bots after players. I'm not frothing, really.

(When the beta servers go down I'll be remaking Teknika with a more bucs-friendly name.)

Battle Drones and protector bots? Man, it's been a long time since I played CoH... I guess many things have changed.

How is CoV Sapphire? I thought the game was fun for awhile, then I got bored just grinding out levels with nothing else to do.

Maybe I should resub and break out my blaster JiveTurkey or my healer Bugga. :p

The bots are part of CoV only - which is still in beta. I'm a Mastermind, one of the new ATs. Where CoH has blasters, scrappers, tanks, defenders and controllers... CoV has corruptors, stalkers, brutes, masterminds and dominators. Some of the ATs match up.. brutes are somewhat like tanks, and stalkers are somewhat like scrappers. But the three squishy ATs on both sides do a little crossing. Dominators are certianly most like controllers, but there are NO "defenders" in CoV. Or rather, there are no "healers" - the FF and dark sets are avail, but there's no empathy.

I'm LOVING CoV, it really renewed my interest in the game. I still have my FF/Psy defender in CoH, lvl 45, and I'm sure I'll be playing her again more once I get tired of my MM, but I'm LOVING having pets. I wanted pets SO BAD with my bubbler... now I have them.. and I can rename them.. it's so much more fun this way.
