I am going to pick Marc Bulger, probably this week, just so no one else gets him (he was dropped when he got injured). My question is, should I drop Eli or Brunell.

Whoever I keep, will more than likely end up being my back-up after week nine, barring any injuries. I am tied for first place, so this is a critical move.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pick your poison. Both have tough schedules left to play, and it won't get easier for either.

If it was me, I'd drop Brunell.

Are you in a 4 team league? Why would someone have dropped Bulger?

Hes having a pretty decent season. He had a bad week last week, but he was putting up pretty good numbers before last week.

Brunell, is a good QB, but if he has another bad game you never know what will happen (Ramsey being tested again at QB?). There is no telling with Gibbs. I think Manning has a few easy games against SF and MIN for the next few games. His schedule gets worse from there, but by then you will probably have bulger at full strength and starting every game anyway.

I really wish I was in your league where people drop one of the most productive players in the league when they get hurt for 2 weeks and have a bye.

We have a very simple league. No IR, no "waivers".
Our rosters consist of:
2-QB (1-starting)
2-RB (1-starting)
3-WR (2-starting)
2-TE (1-starting)
2-K (1-starting)
2-DST (1-starting)

That's it. You are not allowed to keep players, not allowed to have 1 kicker and 3 running backs, or anything like that. If your starting guy gets hurt, and while he is hurt, your other guy has a bye week or a tough match-up, you drop him and pick up someone else. That simple. If you are not paying attention, someone else will pick up the person that was injured. That is a risk that you take. It is a head-to-head league, with only 10 teams. Only 6 make the playoffs, of which the division leaders on a bye. Every game is critical. See??!!
