I want to make a trade for a TE. One guy in the league has both Heath Miller and Jeremy Shockey. If I can pry one from his team.... who would I take?
Also.... who do I trade?
My bench consists of
-Bucs D
-Roy Willams (WR)
-Chester Taylor
-Mewelde Moore
-TJ Housmandzadeh
-Ernest Wilford
-Curtis Martin
-Reggie Wayne
-Dallas Clark
I am willing to trade any combination of the lot.

He gets like 3 points or less per game. Had that one good game against Houston.... but nothing else.

Im a much bigger fan of Shockey then Miller. Miller is one of those touchdown or bust guys, he'll either catch a TD or do nothing. He only has 200 yards this year. Shockey doesnt score as much be is basically a lock for like 50-60 yards a game and a TD every two or three games. Try to trade the guy whatever he needs. If he is stocked at RB then he obviously wouldnt want any of your running backs. Since having a good TE is really important dont hesitate to try someone from your starting lineup. You have really good backup WRs especially if Roy gets healthy. Dont be afraid to trade one of your starters.
By the way, who is your starting TE now??

You aren't starting the Bucs D? Who are you starting? Also why don't you post your whole team so we can say who you could trade from your starters if you had to.

Depending on the guy you will have to go big or go home to get either TE. Probably have to trade maybe Moore and Wayne. Even then might not take it. Might end up having to trade a starter. Would help to know who is on each team. Might be able to help him out with one of his weakness'.
I would go for Shockey if you could. He has more tallent and they throw the ball more in that offense. This means if he is going to trade either it would end up being Miller.
I am kicking myself now. I drafted Miller in every league and the first 3 weeks he did nothing so I dropped him to get some people to cover for bye weeks and such. Now everyone has picked him up. Dang it, I was the smart one to draft him, I just need to keep him on my team and have patients.

Starters
QB - Peyton Manning
RB - Fred Taylor
RB - Curtis Martin
WR - Reggie Wayne
WR - Ernest Wilford
TE - Dallas Clark
K - Neil Rackers
D/ST - Chicago Bears
Reserves
RB - Mewelde Moore
RB - Chester Taylor
WR - Roy Williams
WR - TJ Houshmandzadeh
WR - Brandon Jones
D/ST - Tampa Bay Bucs
The Bears D is obviously doing a bit better, but the Bucs D isn't too shabby either. I think he'd be more open to getting some WR help.
Here is the other dude's roster:
Laveranues Coles
Domanick Davis
Stephen Davis
DST Eagles
Antwaan Randle El
Byron Leftwich
Derrick Mason
Willis McGahee
Heath Miller
Jeremy Shockey
DST Titans
Michael Vick
Jeff Wilkins
Ricky Williams

i guess it depends what kinda of league your in where do Tds get you a lot of points or does performance? Steelers arent known for using TEs a lot in their offense...But just keep Clark he is just fine.

The only reason Miller doesn't have many yards is because they hardly used him at all the first 3 weeks. The past 4 weeks he's averaged 50 yards and had atleast 1 TD.
I would agree that Shockey is probably the better option, but Miller is still very good.

10= 1 point
TD= 6 points
With all the injuries and benchings.... I seem to have a pretty goos squad. I have ammo in any trade... and I'm not desperate because Clark is ok. I might pick on the guy that has TO... as he's weak at WR.
:D
I might just stand pat. Clark may be coming around.... plus he plays Houston one more time.

Post your starting line-up because if you have good Rbs you could probley trade Moore and or Martin for good TE because Martin seem to be having a off year compared to last season..
