Bucs against Miami on Madden 2005

I need some advice on playing Miami on Madden '05. My friend has put together a streak of five games. If I focus on the run he kills me with passing, but I not so worried about stopping him as I am about my own offense. I need some advice on some good plays to use on offense and defense.

play a 3-4 with man on the for the two corners and cover 2 with the safeties. blitz at least one linebacker each time and it should work. or at least is always does for me!

on madden 05' corner routes work too well (unless he is smart enough to play as a saftey) I think "smash corner" out of the single back four wide bunch (or what ever it is called) was my bread and butter play. Clayton and Galloway runing opposite corner routes and Pittman running a streak route down the middle. at least on of these guys is usually open and since '05 doesn't have the cone you can pick and choose. On D I love the cover 3 out of the nickle, use the strong saftey to play the underneath zone and you can play up on the run easily also.

I hardly ever play man unless im playing against a deep threat reciever....stick to the 4-3 or 3-4 on a cover 2 stunt....or what I have always had success doing, if he comes out with 2 wideouts....setup with dime package then blitz the 2 inside corners and this will work both ways cause Bolden and Allen are good in the game and fast enough to get to the qb before he throws...also good enough to stop the run because if you tighten the line, he cant run inside or outside due to the bunched linemen and the corners blitzing...GL!

Now, I am 125-65 in Madden 2006 on XBOX Live....and I continue to play the best.

Now now now. The guy has played that many games on a video game that has only been out for 5 or 6 months? I don't think he has hit puberty yet. I still have an old ESPN Nfl 2K5 and have only played 180 games total, winning all but 2 of them. I suggest he quits bragging about not having a life

I play games with my cousins and friends....but I play a lot with my 2 brothers in Cali...I don't see whats wrong with any of that. I'm in school, I have a good paying job....and taking care of my gf and child.

You go to school, have a good paying job, have a girlfriend, and still make time for however many video games? How much of that is a lie and how much of that is truth? I went to FIU, rec'd my Bachelor's Degree, I had a girlfriend, and did not even have 2 hours a day to myself, then again, I actually studied and graduated in less than 4 years. Keep it up, slacker.

Line shifts. Make things unconventional. Shift line left, LB right, while sending hte shifted line to the right aswell. Double Chambers. Pretty much the only real WR threat. Kelly whould be able to handle Booker. Blitz from the outside and with brooks, often. Get the QB rattled. And rattle him by running the ball slowly, draining the clock and his patients. Don't forget to use some cover 2 every now and then especially for short passes and screens. Bump-n-Run to knock off their WRs if you're blitzing. I can't believe Miami's PASS ATTACK kills you.
