Madden 360 turned me off.

I was so excited to look forward in playing Madden on a next gen console that it sold me on buying the Xbox 360 just for that reason alone. After I have read reviews from IGN and GameSpot, they have all said that Madden 360 is just like the Madden from three or more years ago and it is just a basic game that is not worth buying for $60. I am so glad that I have read the online reviews because if I did not I would be a VERY upset Xbox 360 owner and I would probably end up selling my 360 on Ebay for more than what I have purchased it for. I will wait until next year when the PS3 comes out and then I will purchase the 360 along with it when Microsoft cuts the price of the system to gain an upper hand in the console wars (Plus Halo 3 is expected to come out on PS3 launch date). Then I will read the reviews of what Madden is best on what system so I can put my money where I know I can get every pennys worth. As for now, I can play Call of Duty 2 and King Kong on my PC.

the review is totally correct. it reminds me alot of madden 99. it is one of the worst maddens i've ever played. even worse then madden 03. cannot challenge plays or formation shift out of a certain set, got to audible to diff play to do it., not to mention no michaels and madden commentary. dont waste the 60bucks and go buy nba live 06, its the nba live 05 engine with the best graphics, looks almost like on tv.

This is one of the worst Maddens I have ever played and found out the hard way! I waited three hours outside of target just to get a Xbox 360 for the sole purpose of playing the New Madden and boy what a mistake that was, so 500$ dollars later I have a new DVD/Crappy Madden player! I only have three words for anyone interested in buying the Next Gen Madden...AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Agree, gameplay is terrible, XBOX Live is laggy. I loved Madden 06 for XBOX, but the XBOX 360 version plain out sucks.

Well the real next gen madden is madden '07 thats what it is labeled as. Madden 06 wasnt made for the 360 it was made for the xbox and ps2. The 360 can outperform anything out obviously... I wouldn't buy that 06 version instead wait and buy 07 and the 360 at a lower price. May be able to pick up halo 3 by then too.

Thats exactly what im doing. Just sit back and wait until the prices go down and then go buy one. Also I have been hearing they have been having problems some of the 360's because they rushed them to the stores.

Actually the Xbox 360 is pretty sweet it's Madden Next Gen made by EA Sports that was not worth the wait in line. Call of Duty 2 and Perfect Dark Zero have Awesome graphics and are two of the best first Person Shooters games that I have ever played.

I played King Kong on x-box and the graphics are sick but the gameplay sucked.

Call of Duty 2 is better on PC (somebody had to say it :D ) . PS3 is going to be just plain awesome. I will still get a 360, but not right now. PDZ is the only game that interests me right now, so I will hold off until Splinter Cell 4 comes out. As far as Madden 360, I got turned off on it when I learned there would be no defensive playmaker, its too integral to my D for me to play without it.

PDZ is cool for sure, I have that as well. Splinter Cell 4. Oh my. SC is probably my favorite franchise and when they get to utilize the power of the new consoles. Wow.

Call of Duty 2 is awesome when I played the demo on PC. I think Perfect Dark Zero will be in the greatest hits library for $20-$30 when the PS3 comes out PLUS the 360 might slash their price at the time. I hope the 360 comes bundled with Halo 3 at the time.

yeah...remember too when the xbox first came out...the games sucked I thought untill about a year later and then they start utilizing the console and taking it to the extreme. So I guarentee that 360 in a year will out perform any other console on the market.
