I have said it before and i will say it again here the bucs arent getting enough pressure on the Qb mostly up the middle. which brings me 2 my point we need to pick up a good pass rushing dt with one gap quickness. i say jesse mahelona.

thoughts?

True, but not in the first. Maybe second/third, where Mahelona should be available by then. I believe you draft by need, us being the number 1 D statistically, I don't think that is our area of need for a 1st rounder, which are usually players that make an impact sooner while later picks are meant as projects or eventual starters. I also like Bunkley outta FSU and Jonathan Lewis, an underrated disruptive DT sleeper from Va Tech.

Gabe Watson may fall to us in round 2 because he always doesnt play to his best.

Which means he is a no go as a Buc.

Mahelona is not bad.

You know Rocky Bernard is an 8 sack DT that may hit the FA market.

Bryant will make a huge impact in years to come, He wont put up the numbers each year, but he will have a prescence on the field, always needing two men on him at all times.

That's if he can get his lard arse in shape to play more than 7 snaps a game. Let's wait and see how horrible he comes into camp this year.

Dewayne White came into camp in better shape year two. :)

Bryant is a project player. I do not expect him to start next year or the near future. He is a developemental player that will make for a solid NT backup for this football team.

Gruden will pick an impact player in Round 1... even if it is just Special Teams.

WR, LB, DE, RB

Those positions are players you can plug into rotations, use as special teams players, etc.

Unless there is a stud OT, UT or another position that falls to us that is a "Can't Miss" Pick. Look for one of the above to be drafted.
