Scott is a bit undersize, I would rather take Winston Justice here and bank on his potential to be great. Plus Lane Kiffin is the offensive corridinator so he could give us pointers on him. But I dont see Omar Jacobs going in the 1st round.

I dont like Justice's character issues. ANd Scott bigger than justice. both are 6'6'', AND Scott outways him by 10 lbs. But after the combine, teans will be after Jacobs.

2 things

Ahmad Brooks isn't in this draft

If Ngata, Williams, and Kiwi are gone, Cleveland will take the best OT. Unless a top corner is there, but in this situation, he's not

i wouldnt take a OT i would get an OT in free agency i would get either rod wright or jesse mahelona in the first round since there is not a garuntee they will be in the second.

Why? He's not a fullback, and we have more oppressing needs than ANOTHER runningback. Ex: OT, LB, CB, DE, DT, and WR

Yah, I agree. White is a running back and will demand RB type $$ so whats the sense of using a pick on him when we have Caddy, Pittman. Our biggest need it OT-RT.

What about Joe Thomas from Wisconsin who Buenning already played with or Marcus McNeal from Auburn

I might seriously look at Youboty from Ohio State here. CB is probably the toughest position in football, but I think that Ashton would fit into a BK mold in our cover 2. Someone already said that we could get an OL from free agency.

Thomas won't be declaring, he got injured after Barry Alvarez had him play both ways in the bowl game they were in. And I'm not a fan at all of McNeill. Sure he has amazing size and can run block like few others can, but he's an average at best pass blocker and he'd still leave us without a LT.

What r u talking about? Prior to this last college football season, people had him in the preseason heisman race with the likes of Matt Leinart, Vince Young and others. Well, where did he go? He put up decent statistics for Bowling Green He had 26 Touchdowns and only 7 interception but he palyed teams like Ball State, Temple, Buffalo, Kent State, and Toledo. And against Western Michigan he threw for 98 yards and 2 interceptions. How can you say he is going to be the best QB in the draft? Back yourself up!

I don't think he's the best QB in the draft, but i know how to back that up.

Its called, College stats don't hold alot of weight when it comes to NFL. Look at Brad Johnson's stats in college. Then look at the long pro career he had in the NFL.

The most important thing in the eyes of scouts and coaches, in recruiting mid-major players is their intangibles. Omar is 6'4, 225 lbs. with a great arm, and a 40 time somewhere between 4.4-4.6. His accuracy can use some work, but NFL coaches are better than the ones he's had in college, and they can work on his mechanics.

Well going on your potential scenario here i would say look for the best RT availible.. basically bc the RT position protects Simms blindside. Other good picks could be Ernie Sims or Antonio Cromartie. i do feel like our biggest pressing needs are at OL, CB, and LB. I don't like Kiper's pick for us. I'm not sure a first round pick should be used on a WR. I agree that we do need to get a big play young WR to fill Galloways spot eventually but i would think we could find one later in the draft or through free agency even if its not this very offseason. I do think we need to address our OL problems tho. When we had decent protection we typically won. Although we were very inconsitent in area which was proven in our playoff game and our up and down season. It would be a great situation if McNeil was availible at our pick but i highly doubt that.

But he's been beaten many times and is slow off the snap. How about you watch a game, THEN comment? Hmmmmm.

Well actually, i watched most of Auburn's games this year, and he looked dominant in every single one of them, especially in the bowl game vs. Wisconsin. He made every D-lineman look like a *****. And i hate to break it to ya, he's as fast off the line as anyone of the O-lineman comingoff this year. And how do u get beatin if u dont give up a sack?

Yeah, he looks dominant run blocking. Maybe you're taking bathroom breaks every time they pass, because I don't know how you can't see the kinks in his pass protection. He is not fast off the line, he's probably the slowest of the projected first round tackles. As a matter of fact, he's easily the slowest. Justice, Furgeson, and Colledge are much quicker and Winston and Scott are too. Wisconsin? Who did McNeill dominate? Wisconsin graduated all of their defensive talent. How about going up against Eric Henderson earlier this season, a player who actually has talent. Was he dominant in that game? Far from it. How quick off the snap was he? Not nearly quick enough.

How do you get beat and not give up a sack? Did you really just ask that? Kenyatta and Davis got beat badly all year and didn't give up a sack on every play they were beat because Simms/Griese would dump off the ball, throw it out of bounds, roll out away from the rush. I mean, I can't beleive I am discussing something so basic with you. :(

If the draft happened exactly like that, I think we take either Jon Scott or Winston Justice.

But I have a few issues. Giants taking a DE? Not with their secondary they don't. Strahan may be getting old but Osi is becoming one of the most dominant players on the defensive side of the ball in the NFL and New York has bigger problems on defense than their pass rush.

San Diego taking another linebacker is another thing I don't agree with especially since it's DeMeco Ryans. Doesn't fit their system because he is too small to play in the 3-4. But I do think that Ryan could be a player in our system.

Both are players that the Bucs could draft and I really don't see either of these teams taking either one of them.

I've seen Omar Jacobs play against Buffalo, and he was extremely unimpressive. He had a bad junior year, and I dont see him going above the late second or early third round honestly. I think he should have played 1 more year for bowling green and I think he would have been much higher in the draft as a result.

I would have to take Manny Lawson DE N.C. State. Most of you will probably think this is a reach but..this guy is going to be a great pass rusher...Has many of the same attributes as Dwight Freeney, and if Simeon is gone either this year or next year, he would be a great person to have.

22. TB-Tye Hill-CB

although i think he will be gone by this point...if he is still there and Mcniel and Kiwi are gone i say take Hill

Tye Hill will be a pro bowl CB in the NFL
