Got this from another board, interesting read. Good early Buc orientated draft article showing first an opinion on the Bucs draft board with their 1st round pick. Personally I don't think he'll be there at #23, but if they could pick up Kiwanuka even with the other needs, they'd have to jump on it. I'm cool with Justice though. He's my choice this year for the pre draft bandwagon.
NFL Draft Blitz also has a 7 round Buc mock updated today, 1/19 (of course this doesn't take into account the yet to be assigned comp picks.)
1st-OT – Winston Justice
2nd-WR – Maurice Stovall
3rd-C – Greg Eslinger
4th-CB – Charles Gordon
5th-OLB – William Kershaw
6th-Traded to SF for QB Tim Rattay
7th-WR – Jeremy Bloom

Im hoping either Kiwi or Hali drops to us, if they do there is no way the bucs pass up the opportunity they can always draft a tackle in the second round or get one thru free agency

Justice would be a good pick. But it's gotta be defense the rest of the way out, we don't need a WR or center on the first day.

I love the third and fourth round picks, I could live with Justice in the first.

Thats a dream draft and I would go nuts if it happened like that. Charles Gordon is a 1-2 round pick, jeremy bloom is amazing, and we get a good center.

Not big on drafting a wideout early but I think a guy like M Stovall would not be a bad investment for our offense,.......I like the move

Although Stovall is good, he's just another high-jumping slower posession type reciever like Clayton. We need a deep threat, unless somehow someway Santonio Holmes drops to this position, no WR is worth our 2nd rounder.

Great Draft. Beat center in the 3rd round- love it. Im fine with the 1st round selection. I do however think the 2nd round should go to defense.

What I'm thinking is that Justice will be long gone by our pick in the top 10-15, "Human Mountain" McNeill or Eric Winston(drops due to injury) might be there. Instead of Stovall in the second, I'd take D'Qwell Jackson MLB, Maryland and move him to ROLB. Then Marcus Maxey CB, U of M in the 4th and Matt Berstein FB, Wisconsin in the fifth to fit in as the next Lorenzo Neal, best blocking back in the draft to replace A-train and can also run but can't catch for **** so that might be a problem for our version of the WCO, so maybe Lawrence Vickers FB, Colorado might be a better choice. I do like Bloom as a 7th rounder, though we already have plenty of project recievers.

Some things I do not like in this mock:
*No day one defensive player.
While I understand the urgency of finding a good OT on day one...ignoring the defense until day two is no good.
*Stovall is a younger version of Hilliard. I do not like this pick as someone else mentioned the Bucs have 3 possesion receivers that are on the PS off of last years draft and Stovall is another possesion receiver ala Clayton. A speedster would make more sense but I doubt the Bucs draft a day one receiver seeing this draft class is weak in this area.
*Eslinger is considered one of the better centers in the draft. With that said he is undersized and does not have much experience in pass protection. Wade/Mahan are more than good enough as centers (and Jackson) so picking up another center that is undersized makes no sense to me (especially spending a day one pick on one) I mean both Mahan and Wade are undersized and weak at the point of attack so why draft another center with the same weakness?

There's actually 1 wide receiver I would like to see us draft. I believe he'll be available in the 5th round or below:
Tyrone Prothro. Small guy, only 5'9 175, but VERY fast. Great hands, and runs superb routes. I think this guy will drop a LOT though because of the broken leg. If he can recover, he has a lot of talent. Keep in mind, the slugging Alabama offense was pretty damn good in passing when Croyle had this guy.

I agree, but he's a junior. :D

this is a very interesting draft for sure. I really don't know anything about the guys other than Eslinger and Bloom tho. I must admit tho Eslinger would be an incredible pick in the 3rd round. But i don't see him being availible that late in the draft. He is an absolute stud at Center. He was the biggest reason Maroney had all those yards. I've heard decent things about Justice so i guess i could be happy with that pick. Bloom would be interesting, he is very fast and is fairly ellusive. Never heard of the other guys tho.

That would be a great draft, but I don't think those guys are going to be available.
Jeremy Bloom eh? That guy could be awesome.

I would love that draft as long as we traded up a few spots to snatch Mario Williams with the 21st pick. But he will NEVER drop that far unless he has a horrible combine and I don't think that will happen.

Well thats not a draft, thats just their top 20 players.
My point was that they have Manny Lawson on the list, when i'm pretty sure they mean Mario Williams. If it wasn't a mix-up, then this site shouldn't be taken seriously at all.
They also left off Vernon Davis whose the best TE in the draft, and have Mercedes Lewis who has really fallen off, as the 6th best player
