Hula Bowl January 21, 2006

"Top 10 prospect heads to hawaii... Almost right on cue, the Hula Bowl formally released its rosters for this year's game scheduled for Saturday at 7 PM ET. And while the Hula Bowl has generally had to content itself with largely second-tier prospects in recent years, this week's game includes at least one top ten prospect for the 2006 draft in 6-9 Auburn OT Marcus McNeill. Hula Bowl organizers also were able to bring some decent talent at the skill positions including QBs Barrick Nealy of Texas State, Josh Betts of Miami of Ohio, Cory Hodges of Texas Tech and Brad Smith of Missouri, although Smith will also get plenty of playing time at RB. There, Smith will work with the likes of Andre Hall of South Florida, P.J. Daniels of Georgia Tech, P.J. Pope of Bowling Green and Patrick Cobbs of North Texas. Meanwhile, in addition to Texas State's Nealy, potentially one of the first five QBs to be taken this coming April, the top small college prospects in Hawaii this week include QB Brett Elliott of Linfield, DE Dave Tollefson of Northwest Missouri State and OT Pat McCoy of West Texas A&M. " (gbnreport.com)

McNeill is projected to picked all over the place depending on who you ask. Some say as early as Top 15 to as far back as late 3rd early 4th! This is the time to scout him yourself. He's the only prospect worth scouting from a fan's point of view. The rest are second tier type of guys. I'm interested in seeing Brad Smith QB, Mizzou play RB.

Sorry, I don't think I do. I know what you're talking about though, I heard their was another bowl this weekend, forgot what it was called though.

EDIT: The other game on is the East/West Shrine Game, which is on right before the Hula Bowl, just found out by looking on my DirecTV Guide thing.
