I know it's in NYC, but does anyone know where? It's not on the events list at Javits, Madison, or anywhere else.

As far as I know it's goingto be at the Javits Center again. Until told otherwise that is what I'd assume.

There's actually a large venue competition going on right now. Radio City music hall is in the running I believe, as is MSG and Javits

Yep, Q's got it. RCMH this year. Should be a nice venue allowing more fans to attend as there's more room than the Theater at MSG.

Here's the NFL.com article on the announcement...http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/9328413

Javits center was kinda small last year. Come to think of it, RCMH should be a nice large venue. Hope it's still free.

Ask and you shall receive, bkl. From the NFL.com link I posted above your post...

The NFL Draft begins at noon on Saturday, April 29 and is free to the public.

You going? Have fun if you are, bro. :)

Isn't the RCMH haunted?

If it is haunted who cares. They are hosting the draft there and thats really all that matters if you think about it. Nobody will change their mind on who they will draft whether or not ghosts or whatever is there attacks them will it?

Def going man. I'll have my sign up this year; TB + M^2 (Marcus Mac) = XLI. Pre-draft, we should all start up a thread for whose going so we meet up there.

The RMCH really is haunted though. Rumor has it that if your mock draft for the first 2 rounds is entirely correct, 5 Radio CIty Rockets mysteriously appear and steal you away to a private room where they give you a more "up close" preview of their "leg-raising" routine.

True story.

Just a little question

How long before the draft I should be there if I want to be sure to get in???

I have to drive 10 hours to go there so I don't want to miss it.

To main room? Well, last year at Javits (which is smaller than RCMH i believe but don't quote me). Doors opened at 6am (actualy draft is 12:30). I got there at 5:30 and I missed the main area tickets by about 150 people. If you're comfortable with secondary area - I saw people getting into there at like 9 (secondary is a back room, you will eventually get called to main area, but that's usually well into the late 1st.
