Every time the Bucs and Rams hook up since 1999, it's a thriller.
The Rams won the 1999 NFC Championship Game, 11-6, to go to the Super Bowl, but the Bucs have prevailed in three close contests since, one each season, always on Monday night.
Where does this most recent game rank among the four in your opinion?

This win I can sum up with one word, SATISFACTION. :D
Thank you, Buccaneer Defense.

Of all the games I think this was the most dominating by our defense, although it didn't look like it would be with a 91 yard drive in the first qtr.
But between then and 5 min in the 4th, the defense absolutely shut them down. I love it. Once the offense starts rolling more I look for a great season. Gruden should be giving the ball to Pittman at least 20 carries...

Ok I've got it coming. Give it to me. But at least I have the guts to come back. Just like the Rams will come back.

While the MNF game two years ago ranks among the best Bucs games I've seen... EVER... this game is definitely number two on the list of Rams-Bucs clashes for me. This is a huge confidence builder for the team after that tough opening loss to the Saints, despite the pounding last week of the lowly Ravens (I love saying lowly Ravens... too bad Dilfer still doesn't play for them, although the Seahawks are looking rather lowly at 0-3.)
Even with the 0-2 record, everyone knows the Rams are a quality team and beating a quality team in the national spotlight is what it is all about. With Cincy, Atlanta, and Cleveland on the horizon, the Bucs have a great chance at 5-1 before the next chance of revenge comes at Philly. This win definitely changes the complexion and spirit of the early part of the season and I hope the Bucs can keep it rolling all year.
Kudos to the defense for showing up in a huge way and making so many huge plays. I look forward to the game where the new Gruden offense starts clicking and putting up the points so the D doesn't have to. Killer win!!!

Oh man.. we tore the house down.. the Bucs defense was amazing.. we outplayed the rams in every facet of the game. this has to be the third best however. The game after the NFC championship loss was the best however because of the revenge factor. Last years was just awesome because the Rams were undefeated.. but if they were 0-2 coming into this game.. i wouldnt know what to tell u.

The game during the 2000 season with the warrick dunn + shaun king come back (remember the lateral play?) was the best. NFC Championship was 2nd. This game on monday night ranks 3rd, in my opinion.
I liked the way Sapp played. You could tell by the way he sacked Warner that those 2 fines in the past couple weeks were fresh in his mind. And I liked the way the offense played in the first half. They kinda flopped in the 2nd half, but luckily, the defense picked up all the slack(as usual).
Same ole Bucs, but hey, how can I complain???? We won!!!!
It always looks like the Rams are driving us up and down the field, but they never score. Hats off to the defensive game planners (thanks monte kiffin) and all the defensive players/coaches. Heck of a job, as always.

this was a great matchup, i'm still pumped up about it, but the 2000 MNF game w/the king/dunn sandlot football lateral is still the greatest bucs game i've ever seen. i went looking for the audio replay of that game last night on the NFL site but it's gone. a crying shame:
here is the page of links to games that are not there (http://www.nfl.com/multimedia/00audio/TB.html) boo hoo.
i live up in NYC, so i have to do some work sometimes to see or hear Bucs games. i savor these nationally televised games.
this was a solid game. solid Buc Ball, even with that bit of Keyshawn razzle-dazzle. Sapp was at the top of his game. but it was an efficient game. that 2000 MNF game was breakout for excitement.
this was the best Monday Night game so far this season ... well, i guess that's not saying much, and i'm not much into MNF as any kind of "institution," but still...
i'm still tempering my expectations for this team this season, but so far they're worth the work it takes to see their games from here.

I think I have to agree with what is being said here. This game ranks as number two for me as well.
One other thing being said is regarding the clicking of the offense. I really think the team needs to do this clicking and look a lot more polished if we want to win the big game at the end of the season because I don't see it happening the way we are playing right now. But hey, a win is a win especially agianst the Rams. I only wonder how the outcome of the game might have been if not for Faulk's injury though.

As long as the Bucs Win, I don't care. As far as I am concerned the most recent Win is always the sweetest.

Maybe the best. Ask me in a week. God I'm hyped!
I think one great thing about last nights game was that we started to see progress in our offense, and that we see the same great Bucs defense. Same great taste, more touchdowns.
O-line improvement. Good pass protection. BJ finding lots of receivers. Dilger getting into the picture. Dudley getting into the picture. Keyshawn's fingertips. Backup O-line does okay. BJ dumping the ball quickly if needed. Gruden hugging Keyshawn. Yep, this is what we were waiting for. And I bet it just gets better.
(I injured my shoulder celebrating the Brooks touchdown, pounding on the concrete floor. That was freaking great! I'll be "probable" by next week. :D )

NFC Championship is next

It's all uphill from here, but I am hurting for the o-line now, way to many injuries "SUCKS"

I would have to say the 2000 game was the best. We beat them at their own game that day. 2001 in my opinion is next. It was another in a line of domination on defense. Then I would have to say the NFC championship game comes next. We were the better team that day, but we lost, that's why I have to put it third and not first. Then would come last nights game. It was a great dominating game and I loved every minute of it. The reason I rank it forth is because I don't feel the rams are what they once were and Marshal Faulk was out most of the game.

i think monday nights game was awseome:cool: .The games are always great but the BUCS always WIN and the RAMS always LOSE.The best game ever beetween these two will be the 1999 NFC Championship game ,where the bucs should have won due to a stupid referee call.Walker and Jenkins are going to hurt the bucs ALOT.GOOD LUCK BUCS,BAD LUCK RAMS

THis ranks as #2,
the 2000 shoot out at ray jay is #1 and the BEST BUCS game ever. Several reasons most of which is we won, we won a high scoring game with the Rams and absolutetly the most exciting to be at that night. MNF needs them every year..
Looking at it from just an NFL fan these matchups are great. What more could a fan wnat to see. (unless your a ramer)
I hope the boys in red and pewter can keep the same intense attitude for the lesser games. we have a tendency to play down to our competition.
REMEMBER last year it took OT to beat the bungles.
We will need that kind of play from our Defense when we play the Feagles in Filly. And like eveyone else our O-line needs help. Just when we were getting better play from Kenyatta and had Cosey back its falling apart again. LETS HOPE!

Well thanks for coming back...you are the only rams fan with any guts and for that, I wont diss the rams. However, that was one heck of a game. If you werent there, my apologies to you, it was as loud as i have ever heard Ray Jay. Except maybe after the latteral in 2000. Which brings me to the topic at hand...
1)2000- Whos my favorite player?? Mr. SHAUN KING
2)Monday- Whos my favorite player?? Mr. Derrick Brroks, Mr. Brian Kelly, Mr. Dexter Jackson, Mr. Simeon Rice, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. WARREN SAPP...................
3)NFC champ-even though we lost, we still played a great game.
4)Last year- good victory but it wasnt terribly momorable

The Bucs game on Monday was definitely one of the best! Maybe even number #1. I don't know about you all but I love to see Kurt Warner ( who must be hurting 'cause he got sacked even more than Brad did against the Saints) and the Rams get creamed against the Bucs.
Go Bucs! Keep it up all the way to the Superbowl!

1+. Dunn to King game, beat them at their own game.
1. Monday's game for the sheer brutality of the whopping.
2. 24-17 cause beat them at their own house.
3. you know, and you know why. Cheaters.

This was a great victory none the less....Damn can you believe the offensive line play!!! With so many injuries those guys stepped it up a notch....This one may not be the best game over the RAMS but it's damn sweet...I only wished that Alstott would get the ball more!!! And Chuck, the next time Keyshawn runs his mouth punch him in the damn mouth and trade his ***!!!
GREAT GAME!!!

I think the word "satisfaction" would also describe my thoughts on that game, now that were not division rivals with Chicago (a team that I hate more than any in this league due to the wicked poor attitudes of its crappy crybaby fans) and I havent yet picked one of our new division rivals to truly hate I just love to see the Bucs stomp on St. Louis, they havent beaten us yet since that loss in NFC championship game, you know the one with that really bad call where we probably would have prevailed and went on to our first Superbowl, and I think St. Louis now has an involentary respect for our team. Or is it just plain old fashioned FEAR!! Thanks Guys!!
