The best (realistic) mock I've found thus far (for the Bucs anyway)

Rd 1. Chad Greenway LB Iowa
Rd 2. Daryn Colledge OG/OT Boise St
Rd 3. Tim Jennings CB Georgia

Thanks. I think Football's future had the Bucs taking Jennings.

So do you think the Bucs part of that mock was off? Or just the mock in general? Because I really didn't pay to close of attention to the rest of the picks.

I've got mixed feeling on Greenway. On the surface he's not your A typical LB the Bucs normally like. At 6'2", 245ish he'd be the biggest LB on the Bucs roster. His speed and intensity as a player might make you overlook that fact.

One of the few knocks on him is his pass coverage skills. His speed does make up for a bit of that questionmark. But we all know that Bucs LB must have superior Coverage skills in this system.

I'd rather have Ernie Sims or DeMarco Ryans if we were to go LB at #23.

I think both the Bucs and the Chiefs were both way off.

Actually thats one of Greenway strong points
Strengths:
Has good size...An outstanding athlete with superb speed and a burst...Smart player with excellent instincts and great football intelligence...Does an excellent job in coverage...Sure tackler...Good blitzer and pass rusher...Pursues well and is solid in the open field...Has good range and makes plays sideline-to-sideline...Has a motor that never stops...Very productive...Good intangibles and a hard worker...Is a team leader and like an extra coach on the field...Still has upside.

Weaknesses:
Weaknesses:
Will get too aggressive and become undisciplined at times...Needs to hit the weights and get stronger, especially in the lower body...Has some trouble shedding blocks...Was not quite as good in 2005 as he was as a junior after the Hawkeyes lost some key personnel...Tore up his knee prior to the '02 season

Chad Greenway is a converted Safety. Because of that, Greenway's understanding and ability are better than most at his position.

I hope that Mock is wrong because it SUCKS. I really dont want Chad Greenway, I dont think he fits our scheme at all. But in that mock it has Lawson,Sims and Williams going back to back to back at picks 16,17 an 18 so if we wanted to get one of them we wouldnt have to trade up that far. But I would rather just have Lawson fall to us at 23 and draft him their.
