*For you non-believers the pics will be up tomorrow, it's 3am and I don't feel like taking them right now* Those of you who know some about me know I was at E3 as well and took plenty of pics. I can't really say EXACTLY how I got the game because of legal issues with release dates, so for that I apologize. But I do know exec's at various companies, including EA.
Onto the game...
First off, way cool presentation and camera angles. From the very first kickoff I was amped but as soon as I saw how I was going to return kicks, I was hooked. The camera falls RIGHT behind the kick returners helmet so it's like you're running directly behind him into the kicking team! A great new concept and very realistic.
No longer do tackles happen where the player collides into another and they bounce off each other like opposing magnets. Every tackler wraps up or blasts the hell out of them with the hit stick.
Jukes have been broken down into small jukes (L1/R1) and bigger jukes (R analog).
There is a new defensive feature that allows you to try and time the snap to get a bigger push against the OL. By pressing X exactly when you think the ball will be snapped you can get a great jump, or get caught offside.
New catching animations, no more bobbling wildly like you're blind (so far).
Big hits, highlight moves and exciting catches/interceptions are zoomed in and done in slow motion. Kind of a cool concept, but difficult to put up with.
Passing is much easier and wide open than last year's version. Over the course of 3 games I've only had 3 incomplete passes.
Players (LB's especially) are still slow to react on toss plays and options...but it's an improvement over last year's AI.
Lastly, my only major gripe, aside from all 1-AA teams being removed from the 360 version, are that the 1-AA rosters on the PS2 version are identical to the ones they had last year. EA did no updates. Kinda upsetting but whatever.
So far 8/10... (but I HAVE NOT UTILIZED THE HEISMAN/BIG MAN ON CAMPUS/DYNASTY MODES YET)

I played the downloadable demo from the Xbox 360 marketplace and I thought it was pretty fun.

You shouldn't touch the back of the disc like that in your final photograph above.
That's what makes the games freeze.

Looks great! What stadium is ranked toughest in the '07 version?

Claytonat3er, I have plenty of CD cleaner and I get them for free anyway but thank you very much, I wasn't thinking lol.
Florida, "The Swamp" is the toughest. It's also cool because they have a decible meter that reads how loud the stadium gets
The top 25 TEAMS (not stadiums) are as follows: (Overall/Offense/Defense)
1) Ohio State A/A-/A-
2) Texas A-/B+/A-
3) Notre Dame A/A+/A-
4) USC A/A-/A
5) LSU B+/A-/B+
6) Florida A/B+/A
7) Auburn A-/B+/B+
8) Oklahoma A-/B+/A-
9) West Va. A-/A-/A-
10) Louisville A-/B+/B+
11) Miami A/B+/A-
12) Florida State B+/B/B+ (One of two teams in Top 25 with No "A"s)
13) Penn State A-/B+/A-
14) Michigan A+/A-/A-
15) Cal A-/B+/A-
16) Georgia A-/B/A-
17) Iowa A-/A-/B+
18) Tenn. A-/B+/A-
19) Ariz. State A-/A-/B+
20) Nebraska A-/B+/A-
21) Va. Tech A/B/A+
22) Texas Tech B+/B/B+ (One of two teams with no A's)
23) Clemson A-/B+/A-
24) 'Bama B+/B+/A-
25) Ga. Tech A-/B+/A-

How do you know he is touching the back. It's not transaprent, and his finger could be extended straight forward.

Because, with the way the disc is positioned on his hand, the CD would fall backwards without some weight behind it to counter-act the weight put on the front of it by his thumb.
Back on topic, I was looking at getting the game. I think it's high time Penn State won the National Championship again. Do they have that junk about not being able to use players' names? That always annoyed me in the previous games, since I find it more difficult to memorize all the numbers instead of players' names.

They will never get players names. It's an NCAA violation (marketing players and so forth). However, on certain websites you can send in your memory card and have people put all the names on for you for free. (They also accept donations) It usually takes about 5-7 days

Bah! I don't even have a memory card for my XBox. I guess I'll have to go out and get one if I intend on getting this game... At least that's some good information to have BEFORE the purchase, so I can factor the cost of a memory card on top of the cost of the game to see if it's worth my while.

Didnt they mke a tool a couple years back that just never got the popularity it deserved. It would come in reasl handy in situations like this. It had a function where you could hooko up your memory card to the internet and download or upload saved games. It was kind of like action replay, which i could never find for the xbox anyways.
I played the demo last night. The graphics look similar to madden 06, and i didnt get much of a tutorial, but i like the momentum. One thing i didnt get was while on defense, there are two people selected. One is my player and one has a spinning star around him. What does that mean. Like ive said before the crowd could be done better, but has improved big time. Another thing i dont like is the analog kicking controls. Reminds me of Tiger Woods games.

It makes me sick....
We can't get NCAA of NFL head Coach in the UK unless our computers are chipped.
Why the hell EA don't make all their games available to all the markets is beyond me. :(

Nope. Fixed. The only slow down you see is on purpose when there is a great catch, or a big hit etc...

Easy there, its just a poster of all the NFL teams. Aside from that poster, that entire wall is covered in bucs stuff.
Lol Great pictures though? I never really thought they were very artistic, I was just trying to prove I wasn't lying, you know?

Ohh I know.. was just buzzing your tower. But a serious question do the stadiums look better than last year? Especially the USF stadium.

Thats the best part, if you have 360 you're in for a treat. As you've probably already read, EA had someone go to every 1-A stadium, stand at the 50 yard line and take pictures in a circle. Every band, visitor section, student section etc... is identical. Along with a 2 mile radius OUTSIDE the stadium.
The stadiums on PS2 are improved, but not greatly. I haven't played with USF, I'll do that soon.

Pirate, nope, I picked it up yesterday (pre-order).
Guys, I hope you all get the chance to play NCAA 07 on 360. Just amazing. The Ray Jay looks stunning dressed in Green and Gold of the Bulls. The gameplay is awesome although I've only played about one game.
I plan on starting a dynasty with USF on Heisman mode. Should be a good challenge.

I dunno about you Big V, but the gameplay is still pretty terrible. They didn't even update playbooks. Aside from the graphics, the PS2 version is wayyyy more in depth. New plays, new animations and much better gameplay. They really need to figure out the controls for 360 and make it feel identical to PS2. I'm highly disappointed.
Looks amazing though.

I don't konw, I've noticed new animations with the 360 version. The only thing missing that I was really into with the PS2 version is the Race to the Heisman. Other than that, I love the game...and the challenge. I just lost to FIU (as USF) on Heisman difficulty.
This is gonna be good.

Nope, Just dynasty. No campus legend either. They do have create a player though. But you d0n't get to do all the drills and stuff to see how good he is like you do on PS2. Its just like regular create a player in every other game where you select the attributes.

For people who have the 360 version, are you guys getting massive lag online? I have started two games and both have been lagging to the point where we both quit. If it gets better challenge me, gamertag: AntonT22
oh and as for the game, it is incredible. i Hated the demo, and was worried about buying it but the real game is so more cleaner and smoother. it is by far the greatest football game ever made. I played 07 on ps2 the other day and there is absolutely no comparison.

The kicking on the PS2 version is a definite step backwards.
