I had two drafts Saturday and did good on one but the other, on Foxsports I was unable to log on the draft page so was forced to have the computer pick for me. Consequently I got screwed at the RB position. This is my team and let me know what you thank I should do. Thanks in advance.

Palmer/Warner(QB)
TO/Chad Johnson/Koren Robinson/Brandon Loyd(WR)
Gates/Crumpler(TE)
Graham/Rackers(K)
Chicago/Carolina
And
L.White/M.Moore(RB)

That team is awesome other than as you said your running backs

Two words for you. Trades and Waivers.

Your screwed at RB. Neither White or Moore is going to start without an injury to their teams respective starter. Chris Brown should be available and will get more carries than LenDale. Also look into getting Dee Brown of the Chiefs. A lot of people lucked out in taking Larry Johnson on the hopes that Holmes wouldn't last the season. Lightening could strike twice.

Good Luck.

Well thanks for the advice, I am in the process of trying a trade Chicago for Kevin Jones straight up. The guy doesnt have a Kicker or a defense so I am hoping for something. He also has W. Parker so we will see. The other team I have that I picked is.
(QB)Warner/A.Brooks
(RB)L.Johnson/L.Jordan/K.Jones
(WR)C. johnson/H.Ward/TJ Hush/A.Bryant
(TE)T.Heap/LJ Smith
(K)L Tynes
DEF Vikes and Bengals

Who the hell trades a RB for a defense? I need to find some of these leagues that you people play in. Is this a money league? I could quit my job.

Like I said I am trying. He did offer me C. Martin for my defense already.

well no luck on the trades unfortunately. The free agent list is slim pickins right now. Top 10 are (Pittman, Alstott, M. Bennett, J.Wells, C. Perry, T.Fisher, A.Smith, A. Pinner, M. Sellers, P.Pass)

Any thoughts. and based on my team from above any thought on trade bait?

what were the trades you did exactly?
Traded away the best QB, best WR, and two of the top TEs and only got one top RB and 2 ok ones in return?

Trade your CAR D/ST and Alge Crumpler for a stud RB. Then you are gonna be fine.

Try to package palmer and gates...I would get rid of gates...don't trust the QB situation in S.D.
Also I have never liked the idea of having a WR and QB on the same team, plus from what I hear palmer's knee is still going to be an issue and if he goes down then down goes c. johnson's numbers..so I would even try to trade him straight up for someone else number #1 WR.
your RB situation sucks...What I suggest you do is drop one of your kickers and pick up a back up that has a good chance to be starting due to the starter getting injuried. i.e. jets, jaguars, texans,

How many teams in this league? Don't say more than 8. No way you get those RB's in a 10+ team league, with c. johnson

thanks for you thoughts at this point I have not made any trades the players on each team were directly from the draft. I play in a 12 team league on Fox sports and on nfl.com. Both leagues had teams picking QB first and it worked out.I was thinking of trading plamer for a Kitna type QB and a #1 RB. Again thanks for you thoughts.

this team was picked by the computer for me I was unable to log into the draft room. And that is also the reason why I am attempting a trade plamer for a stud RB.

Man, the chance to give up the lifeblood of any fantasy team for a QB coming off major knee surgery. I'm sure everyone is knocking on your door.

Yeah people are really knocking down the door to give me talent. Anyway I did just claim c.Taylor there is a report he is injuried but if its not bad then I have a starter. Thanks

I'd definitely think about putting Algae Crumpler on the trading block.

Might even consider the Chicago D in a package deal.
Chicago D is pretty popular right now and you should be able to swing a deal for a good RB from somebody who is overloaded in that department.

Theres always at least one guy who stockpiles RBs in every league. Find one of those guys with a weak D and/or TE position and you have yourself a prospect.

You really don't need two top notch TE's. Unless you are running 2 each week (which I highly doubt).

Find me an owner who is willing to give away a decent RB for D and TE, and I'll sell him a bridge in Brooklyn.

I hear ya.

Like I said, they would have to be overloaded in the RB department and very weak at D and/or TE for it to work.

Only other alternative is to see who is available in f/a and hope you can find a diamond in the rough.

You can trade T.O. or Chad Johnson for a Portis type back....
