I am picking 10th (1st round, last pick) and 11th (2nd round, first pick) in my draft. I've been checking the mock drafts and it appears that there's going to be a mad run at RBs so I'll probably get the 10th best RB on the board. I think it's a safe bet (according to the mocks I've seen) Peyton Manning will be available with the 10th/11th pick, so I'm sure I'll grab him.

Who's the best RB of these few? These have been the most commonly available backs at the 10/11 position.

Rudi Johnson
Cadillac Williams
Ronnie Brown
Steven Jackson
LaMont Jordan

What does PPR stand for?

Pick Caddy and/or Rudi if they are both still there, but if you decide to only take one RB take a star QB or WR, almost definatly a star QB if your leauge gives 6 points for TD passes.

I'll probably take Peyton Manning with one of the pics... I'd rather have the best QB and the 10th best RB than the 10th & 11th best RB and the 32 QB (I won't pick for a WHILE again).

You have a good Chance at Palmer and Brady in round 3, which is early for brady i think, but why do people waste their 1st round pick on peyton? he hasnt proven anything without a consistant RB.
and Palmer and Brady and even Hassleback arnt that behind him in points, so why waste 1st round when u can get good Qbs in 3-8 ?, i always do top RB/WR in 1-5 thats just me, but it sure works out for me.

If Ronnie Brown drops to you (which I don't think that he will) you better take him. He plays the easiest run defense schedule in the league...also another pointer is to look at the running backs opposing D's for weeks 14-16. Those are the weeks that fantasy football leagues have their playoff games. You don't want to pick a running back that's going to have tough games those weeks or you may find yourself losing in the playoffs

I agree with the above poster

I would take Ronnie and Caddy because both can be a force and have a very good upside to them this year.

Cadillac's upside is that there is an improved offensive line and he has been taking injury preventative measure.

Ronnie B's upside is more carries because Ricky is gone.

[QUOTE=caddy&clayton]Pick Caddy and/or Rudi if they are both still thereQUOTE]

That's what I did with my 12th and 13th pick.

So taking two RBs isn't necessarily a bad thing then... I see where you all are coming from. There's a lot of Buc fans in my league... I don't know if Caddy will last. If he does, I'll take him and then we'll see who else is up there. I'd love to get Clinton Portis, but I don't think he'll fall that far.

Manning wasn't even the highest rated quarterback last year fantasy wise. If memory serves me correct, Carson Palmer was.

Projected wise, which doesnt really mean jack, but id take Peyton over Palmer just because Peyton has been doing it for years, and Palmer hasnt proven he can do it Consitantly, and his injury, but i sure as hell wouldnt waste a 1st round pick on a Qb

I would say the injury makes Peyton #1 with Brady #2 then Palmer.
