So, I'm guessing you just figured out what everyone else has known for the past couple months?

I think the curse stops with Alexander the Great. he appears to have a good year ahead of him in '06.

Yeah, sorry XTrenTX, Alexander is going to get injured. Fortunately for the Seahawks, they still have a good o line and they have some impressive backup running backs. I do believe in the Madden Curse...furthermore, they also made a Hall of Fame edition with John Madden on the cover. Keep an eye on Madden, he might feel his own game's curse.

Not trying to be cold or cynical, but there's no denying the Madden Curse.

Not to mention the superbowl loser "curse".

I do think Alexander's #'s will drop (It is hard to increase 1900 rush yards and 28 TD's, even with Hutch) I do think that the Hawks will put it up a little more this year. They play in a weak division so I still see playoffs, unless Arizona has a mad year on D

Wouldn't you consider Ray Lewis' year he had not being under the "Madden Curse" grasp? Therefore, wouldn't the curse be broken?

Eddie George had the best year of his career when he was on the cover, the only thing that happened is he dropped a pass that got intercepted in the playoffs. He had 1500 yards rushing, 450 yards receiving and 16 TDs...

Oh, and Matt Hasselbeck is doing the Campbells chunky soup commercials, so tack on another curse. Pile 'em up, the Seahawks are gonna destroy all of these "curses."

Oh the Seahawks will hardly be affected by all the curses. The NFC West is too easy not to win. You'll just do it with Maurice Morris at RB and Seneca Wallace at QB :).

This really sucks. Alexander has been the most consistent RB in the NFL. I thought surely the Madden Curse could not touch him so I drafted him and now this happens.

I hope a Buccaneer never graces the cover of Madden.

You know, there has been one player to not fall to the madden curse.

Madden 05, Ray Lewis's 2004 season:

Ray broke the curse

The only arguement is he missed a game (whoop-de-doo) and correct me if i'm wrong (I don't remember) but I don't remember the Ravens making the playoffs....or if they did they got booted in the 1st round

Well, considering the curse.. no player has been on the cover and had the ability to come back and have another stellar season.

Ray broke the curse, but his next season was sub-par and they didn't make the playoffs.

Nor did he have a interception
