Sean Locklear- 69, the only player ranked behind him is Etric Pruitt...

Did they hire a bunch of 5 year olds to do these ratings? Do they watch football? I disagree with alot of the ratings, but that one is just absolutely ridiculous.

Michael Vick being a 91 just makes my head spin. They need to base him as a quarterback and not a media giant. 86-87 suits him until he proves he can pass better. I'm happy with some of the them, but I think they need to have different people or some sort of group to come up with better overall ratings.

He's the starting RT on one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. He's the 2nd best offensive lineman on the team. If the NFL differentiated between LT's and RT's for the pro-bowl, he would have been an alternate.

Who's Steve Cargile? Did they mistake him with a Kalvin Pearson?

What is new in Madden this year? I haven't been paying attention but have heard something about controlling a lineman for a couple seconds on a run play or something like that....is that the only new feature?

I guess they revamped the superstar mode...and the running game is suppose to be awesome this year....Not too much too different besides the superstar mode...

You know how they have a new focus every year, like this year they are doing the running game. Next year they need to focus on getting the rosters and ratings somewhere close to being correct.

I thought Nece should have garnered at least an 83 overall. 79 is a slap in the nuts.

wow, that falcons team is pretty damm good. they're missing shire is what I noticed first. But outside of Michael Boley and special teams, not one starter under 81. and lol, Plenty of people are gonna be benching Vick. Schaub has an 78 awareness and passing is 88 / 90

He's camp fodder. Kalvin Pearson and Anthony Bryant are two glaring missing players. Both are likely to make an impact this season too.

Other than that, this is probably one of the most accurate ratings for the Bucs that Madden has ever done.

Apparently, they didn't buy into Mario Williams (86) being better than Reggie Bush (87).

I'm happy with Davin Joseph being an 80. AZ at 76, Stovall and Trueblood at 75. Jenkins is a 73. However, no other draft picks are on the roster. No Gradkowski, Bennett, Massaquoi, or T.J. Williams. Heck, they don't even have Andrew Williams. Bucs roster is a hard one to guess right now though...I always thought they should include all the players on the training camp roster, then let the player trim the roster before they start the season. (doesn't include quick games)

Chris Simm's throw power is a mere 90! That is a joke..he has one of the best deep balls in the league.

Carnell is very accurately done. But Simeon Rice's rating is a farce..95, and get this, Dwight Freeney is more powerful and stronger than him..do these people watch Buccaneer ball or do they just watch the Pats, Colts, Giants and Cowboys?

Actually, Tiburon (the studio that makes Madden) is based in Orlando. If they wanted to see how good the players were, they could just take a real short drive.

But generally, the amount of hype behind the team gets the higher ratings. Which is why the Falcons are ridiculous. Wayne Gandy is an 88...maybe 5 years ago.

As a passer, Vick would be rated high at 70...

I'm going to probably end up switching Cooper to ROLB and have him second string over Mallard.

Then have Nece and Winborn fight out the starting job.

The Bush and Mario Williams ratings are just ridiculous they should be low to mid 80s.

They're rated how they'll fair at their positions, So a 90 for Sowell is legit because he is a tremendous blocker (a little high though) and Alstott for his running ability.
Any players missing will be available for the opening day roster update so it really isn't that big of a deal

The FB ratings in Madden are always high because its viewed as a very easy position. Big guy that doesn't need to be fast, just needs decent blocking and decent hands and he's in the 80s...good hands and some ball carrying skills gets you in the 90s. Very few teams don't have a FB in the 80s/90s.
