Madden glitch on PS2

Anyone else notice that when you're on offense, before the snap, you can hold L2 or R2 to zoom the camera back, and by doing this, the team still gets set to the line of scrimmage, but the game and play clocks stop ticking?

Kind of comes in handy if you don't have any or don't want to use an timeouts.

I noticed that too. was playing superstar mode at fs and you cant see the los all that good so I was holding it and I was like man, whats taking so long.

Yes it's the 2007 version. And personally, I don't think it's a problem. In fact, I kinda like that I found the glitch. Regardless of what you think of the game, I happen to like it. If I spent all of my time playing games, it might matter, but since I don't live in front of my TV, and only play occasionally for fun, it really doesn't matter. But nonetheless, there isn't much of a choice for NFL video games.

it does the same on xbox. I dont think it is a glitch, its probably there so you can look at the formation w/o wasting time. And it cant reall ywork like a timeout, as I dont think u can hike the ball while zoomed out, and when u do zoom out to hike, they wont hike it right away.
No, you can't hike the ball while zoomed out, but I do know (at least on the PS2) you can hike the ball immediately after letting go of the zoom button, but only if your players are set before the snap.
