Should I trade Bears DST for Michael Vick or Steve McNaair or neither?

I have been offered these trades...


I have the Chargers D as my backup and Plummer and Simms as my QBs so I need a QB desperately...

How many points do you get for rushing TDs and passing TDs? Knowing this would help us determine which QB would be better.

The Charger's defense looked solid Monday night, but they were playing the Raiders... I'd wait and see how they perform this week before making any decisions to ditch Chicago's defense.

You get 6 points per rushing TD, and 1 point for every 10 yards rushing.

I also waived Simms and picked up Pennington. Vick is playing Tampa this week, and the Chargers are playing Tennessee. So I would likely start Pennington and the Chargers defence anyway...

Vick scored 21 points last week against Carolina and Plummer scored -3 points against St. Louis for me last week...

I would wait it out. Pennington is a good QB if he stays healthy, and I'm sure some other QBs will rise up throughout the year, ones you can pick up off of FA. Even Plummer isn't a bust yet, it's only been one game so far. Also, Vick and McNair haven't proven themselves to be worth fantasy starts yet (again, only one game so far). However, the Bears D/ST is dominant, and started the year dominant, and should be consistent. So for right now, don't trade.

Also, start the Bears D/ST this weekend. They play the Lions who are still weak offensively, and no matter who they play they're a pretty dominant D/ST.

Cool. I'm going to wait until after week 3. San Diego will have finished thier bye week, and I'll have a better gauge as to what kind of numbers I can expect out of Plummer, Pennington, Vick and McNair. If I still like it I'll do it.

Now should I start Pennington at home against the Patriots, or give Plummer another shot against the Chiefs?

Yes - trade your Def for either one...! Chargers will do great all season. Drop Simms.
