Portis and Lamont Jordan were my 1st 2 picks in one league yet I'm 2-0. I've gotten lucky and played the teams with the lowest points in the 1st 2 weeks.
Hopefully he does play this week cause they are playing Houston and he should be able to get some decent points(hurt or not).

I was fortunate enough to have received the 4th/5th pick in most of my drafts...so portis has been sitting on my bench all yr. It stinks watching your 1st rounder sitting there. Thank goodness I picked up gore and taylor as back ups in all my leagues

I'm not sure, but if he does, I think he'll only see limited time. I got lucky enough to get LT in the first round.

The guy in my league who chose Portis is absolutely hosed. He has Portis, Trent Green, Simms and Culpepper...

Sep 21 Updating a previous report, Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis (shoulder) participated in his first full practice Wednesday, Sept. 20, and did not experience any lingering effects of his injured left shoulder suffered during the preseason. "Clinton Portis had a very good day today. No problems, no complaints," said Redskins director of sports medicine Bubba Tyer, who said Portis would be listed as probable. "He did everything, even took a couple of hits and did fine. It's the most he's done since the injury, practice-wise."

Had Jordan and Portis too, been playing Gore and Jordan (week 1) then Gore and T.Bell. Traded Jordan for K. Jones, just couldn't stand to look at him anymore....
