Yet again, a team will be left out of the Nat'l Championship that probably is deserving.
Why not an eight team playoff? That's what makes college basketball so exciting... March Madness! The BCS is horrible, but why does college football stick with it?
Today, we will find out that a team deserving will not get in. Actually 2 teams, Florida or Michigan, and Boise State. Yeah I said it...Boise State. They went undefeated routing an Oregon State team that defeated USC.
It's not that crazy because we have no idea Boise State stacks up with the big boys.But in Basketball, a 16 seed could win it all, it just makes college football frustrating.
In 2004-2005, a tough undeafeted SEC champion Auburn team got screwed, Oklahoma went, and got blown out, once again we can only guess or infer how Auburn would do.
In 2000-2001 Nebraska got in with 3 losses, and got blown out vs. Miami. A 10-1 Oregon team got snubbed, and in their bowl game they blew out a tough Colorado team 48-16.
Once again College Football leaves us guessing and scratching our heads.
So the question comes up again, why not a playoff?
