View Full Version : Xbox 360 Wireless Networking
Hey all, I just bought the Netgear WGT111T wireless adapter to use with my XBOX 360. I have my computer wired to my Netgear WGT624 wireless router, and I want to connect my 360 through the wireless adapter. How do I do this? Thanks!

First, MS sells a wireless adapter, I'm not sure if a NetGear adapter would work.
Secondly, you will probably need to go into the system setup blade and set the SSID to be whatever your network SSID is.
Hey thanks for the response! I have seen others using different brand adapters connecting to live.
Any other ideas?

Microsoft gives you some help on how to set it up. Also somewhere in there, there should be a list of compatible routers. Hope that helps.
Thanks, but I don't have the official xbox wireless adapter... I have a netgear adapter.

oh I thought you were trying to set up your adapter with a netgear router. It should basically be similar to setting up your computer wireless network, just make sure all the settings on your Xbox are configured the right way.
not sure though, i haven't seen about using a different 360 wireless adapter.
