After barely sneaking into the playoffs with 4 minutes left in the last MNF of the regular season (see Crazy FF finish (http://bbs.buccaneers.com/showthread.php?t=132282)), my 7-7 team blew out my brother's 12-2 team 89-51.
So, now it's on to the finals against my father-in-law, who I beat in the season finale. However, in our league where the average score is about 70 and the highest score during the entire regular season was 117, he won his semi-final game 133-67 thanks to Manning and Harrison.

I'm having a brilliant season in my ten team keeper league with college friends. LaDanian Tomlinson (one of two franchised guys), Steven Jackson (the other), plus Tom Brady (first rounder), and three 1000 yard receivers (Roy Williams, Andre Johnson, Donald Driver, drafted in that order). Throw in Chris Cooley, John Carney, and a good defensive rotation, and I entered the playoffs last week as the #1 seed. I bounced the #4 seed pretty easily (easy when you get 4 TDs from your runners), and play in the Championship next week against the overmatched #3 seed. Even though it's a pride league (trophy, no prize money), it's still a blast.
Of course, the only other league I'm in, for big money (like, thousands), I had a terrible year, finishing 11th out of 14.

I'm still in the title hunt in 3 of my 4 leagues, and in the 4th league, I'm fighting for the fifth place (it's a 20 team league).

Eh, I made the mistake of going 3 rb's and 1 WR instead of 2 and 2.
I had Alexander, Parker, and Julius Jones in with Coles.
I shoulda went Alexander, Parker and Coles and Galloway.
I wouldve won and been in the NFC Championship as we call it in our division.

I won my championship this past week. It was close for awhile, but a late TD pass from Jeff Garcia won it for me.
Yes, I had to start Jeff Garcia.

I started McNair this week. Yes, it cost me the finals. I needed 8 points at the end :madretro:

I had 2 teams in the first round of playoffs in FF from nfl.com... Buc-N-Nutz 2 & 3.
Buc-N-Nutz2 won before MNF and still had Peyton Manning and Rudi Johnson left to play... Too bad he started Brett Farve (0 points) and the Bears Defense (6 points)... Thanks to the Bucs, Blowout 102 to 42. :rotf:
Buc-N-Nutz3 didn't fair so well... I had the Bears Defense but still only needed 6 points for MNF from Who's-Your-Momma. Unfortunately, no TDs and only good for 4 points. They be dead and we lost by 2 points. :grinno: On the other hand, I felt like a winner with the Bucs finally lookin good.

In one of my leagues I started out with the best record, then had a terrible streak of luck and fell out of the playoffs (10man league).
In another league I'm in (12 man) I snuck in as the last ranked seed. Now, two playoff games later, I'm playing for the title. Knocked off seeds #1 and #4.

I'm favored by 11 points in the championship this week. This after many members of the board telling me what a stupid trade I made before week one kickoff. I gave up chester taylor and warrick dunn to get stephen jackson. He who laughs last......

I’m in the championship game. LT, Gore and Colston have been caring me all season long, despite sub par QB play (Hasselbeck, then Delhomme, and then I rode the Damon Huard wave for as long as that lasted).

Im in the championship this weekend in my free Yahoo league. LJ vs. LT. He's already beaten me twice this season, so Im hoping my team can rise up the one time it really matters.
In my money league on Fanball, I lost it for myself. I took Tiki out because Philly shut him down early this season, in favor of Jones-Drew and Bush. Bush scored one point, Tiki scored 16 and I lost by 10. Oh well, there is always next season!

Played in 15 leagues this year. Made the playoffs in 9 of those and and in the finals of 6.
Only one of those leagues did I have a draft position higher than the 5th pick on the draft. In that league, draft position #11, I drafted Parker, Westbrook, Tatem Bell and Gore as my RB. Brees and Plummer were my initial QB. Owens and D. Jackson, and Coles. Add in Winslow/Alex Smith, Kaeding and the Dolphins D and i am 14-1 right now.

Dude, that is a lot of fantasy football. I guess 15 leagues at least guarantees you'll get a win every week. ;)

I'm in 5 12-team leagues (3 nfl.com, 2 sportsline.com) and I made the playoffs in all 5 of them. Four of my five teams are in the championship games for their respective leagues this week.
For the record, I have one fantasy championship lifetime. Could I see a 400% increase in that number this week?

I'm still alive in terms of winning a championship in one of the two leagues I entered. I'm playing for third place in my other one (weaseled out of a win by 2 frickin' points).
In the league that I'm still alive in, we're in the semis and my opponent and myself are both projected to get 130 points this weekend. This should be interesting...

I'm a bit obsessed or so my family tells me. I only go on my 3 leagues 3 times a week. Tuesday to see if I've won that current week and make any roster adjustments. Thurs or friday depending on schedule to check moves and or prospective trades and Sunday morning to set line-ups.

Me: 142
Him: 136.5
His whole team has played and I've still got Garcia playing tonight against the Boys. As long as he doesn't have a 0:6 TD to turnover ratio tonight, I think I'm good. :winkretro
By the way, I picked up Ron Dayne off the waiver wire last week specifically for the matchup Sunday against the Colts. Gotta love a 153 yard and 2 TD performance from a free agent pickup in week 16. Hehe.

So, now it's on to the finals against my father-in-law, who I beat in the season finale. However, in our league where the average score is about 70 and the highest score during the entire regular season was 117, he won his semi-final game 133-67 thanks to Manning and Harrison.
Only four times all season (including the playoffs) did a team score over 100 points, and my team didn't accomplish the feat a single time. Well, Sunday I came back from being down by 30 and at the end of the day I was at 100 points with one player remaining, my TE. Unfortunately, my father-in-law had another great game was at 109 with a RB left. It looked bleak.
Well, my father-in-law's running back was Marion Barber, who was held to 3 yard on 6 carries. I had LJ Smith, and when he had that 65 yard catch and run at the start of the third quarter I almost had it. If he could made it those last 12 yards the championship would have been mine. But as it turned out he didn't catch another ball the rest of the game and I fell 4 points short of winning it all.
