i want to know if my tv is a 1080p or is it 720p ? and would my tv be good for xbox 360 or a ps3? MY TV (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4872141)

you couldn't just skim the specs for the numbers 720 or 1080?
I know the answer, but you should learn to rely on yourself.

Pretty sure it was a joke. Your tv is 720p.
Edit: Display Format: 1080i, however an argument can be made that a 720p display is better than 1080i. Your tv has that option.

maybe i'm missing something here, but the link states his tv is 1080i...not 720p...

He asked if his tv is 1080p or 720p. While it is 1080i, it will also broadcast in 720p. Like I stated, 720p usually looks better than 1080i. (Strictly my opinion)

but the link lists "Input Signal Compatibility" as being "480i, 480p, 1080i" (no 720p)
