The 49ers are picking #11. Atlanta is picking #10. See http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9901730
I posted this earlier, but here it is again.
1) Oakland- They will be looking to get into the playoffs next year (ahla NO). They have a defense good enough to get them there. They need a QB and new WR's to have a shot (they trade Moss and/or Porter). A rookie QB won't do it. However, a playmaking WR w/o the attitude can help. That's why I think they aggressively pursue a veteran FA QB and draft CJ with the #1 pick. (I know this will be unpopular here but if I were the Raiders and wanted a shot at the playoffs next year I would take CJ).
2) Detroit- They have no such wild dreams. They have defensive needs, a RB need, and a long-term QB need. There best best with Quinn still available is to draft him and begin building a team around him (hoping he isn't another Joey Harrington).
3) Cleveland- They might be tempted to take Russell but will pass. Cleveland will be in optimum position to trade down (possibly w/Arizona looking to take Thomas, or with Minnesota or Miami looking to take Russell before the Bucs). They will either take Thomas or trade down with Minnesota. I say they trade down to #7 and pick up Minnesota's second and fourth round picks (perhaps a second rounder next year as well). Minnesota will trade up to get the last perceived top echelonQB in the draft.
4) Tampa Bay- With Russell and Quinn gone, Gruden's option for a QB w/ the fourth pick is gone. So too is the high value of trading down. With CJ taken by Oakland, Gruden will likely pick Thomas. Arizona will know this is an option for TB so will offer to trade picks, but it won't be enough to lose a potential probowl LT.
5) Arizona- With Thomas gone, Arizona turns to defense to try to upgrade the third worst defense (second worst in NFC against the pass). To meet this concern, they draft the first defensive player- Gaines Adams. In the latter rounds they will address the OL troubles.
6) Washington- They had the worst defense in the NFC and had tremendous problems tackling and stopping the run. They select DT Branch to help slow the run attack and make some tackles.
7) Minnesota- Now owned by Cleveland. They select RB Peterson to build a run attack that was non-existent.
8) Houston- They continue to build their defense with CB Leon Hall.
9) Miami- They would have loved to see Hall last until this pick. Rather they opt to take LaRon Landry to help fill their secondary needs. They will address their aging DL later in the draft and pick up a WR in the second round.
10) Atlanta- The Falcons decide to take WR Ginn from Ohio State. Maybe this weapon can help Vick become more of a QB than a RB.

Huh? The top QB in the Draft is decided already? Before the combine? Before interviews? Before the Senior Bowl?
If Russell declares, I firmly believe that the Raiders will take him over Quinn.

I figured if they really want more weapons around Vick, then they might as well draft a player who never drops a pass.
LaRon Landry would probably be really high on their draft board as well though, and I definitely would not be surprised if they went with him at that spot.

I'm thinking that the Falcons address WR through FA, seeing as how McKay struggles greatly with drafting WRs. Actually, I wouldn't be suppressed if the Falcons took Reggie Nelson over Landry come draft day. I expect Nelson to have a pretty big combine, and raise his stock.

Brady Quinn is the Top QB in the Draft, that means that there is no way that Russel gets selected first
If you think that projections this early are set in stone, especially after last night's Sugar Bowl and a Combine that's yet to take place, you're mistaken.
Anyway, if we win the toss and pick 3rd:
1. Raiders - Jamarcus Russel QB, Despite taking the most sacks of any team in the NFL this year, they will pass on Thomas for a QB that is their style to build around.
2. Lions - Joe Thomas, LT, They know the importance of the trenches, and allowing 63 sacks (2nd most allowed in NFL) just won't do. They need this upgrade.
3. Buccaneers - Calvin Johnson WR, With an aging Galloway as our only real playmaker at wide receiver, he will benefit us alongside Clayton (if he rebounds) or Stovall for years to come.
4. Browns - Brady Quinn QB, I know I may get some heat for him going so late, and someone may trade up to get him, but I just don't see him being picked over Thomas and Johnson because both address a larger team need
5. Cardinals - They will get an excellent offer from Green Bay, trade down and GB will pick up Adrian Peterson, because frankly they're in the most dire need of a RB in the NFL probably.
6. Redskins - Gaines Adams DE, In depserate need of a pass rush (19 sacks last year, fewest in NFL), the 'Skins will make the right move and draft the most talented DE in the draft.
7. Vikings - Patrick Willis LB, I could see them trading down to let the Bengals have Branch, but they need improvement at linebacker to make their defense more dominant, so they'll reach slightly to take the top LB in the draft.
8. Texans - Marshawn Lynch RB, Quite simply they need a dominant running back and they will get it, effectively wiping out the top tier of the RB class.
9. Dolphins - Alan Branch DT, I know many will really question him falling this far, but one player always does due to team needs and such, and this will be the guy. the 'Fins will get a real steal and upgrade the interior line, which they need.
10. Falcons - LaRon Landry S, Hard to tell when we don't even know the coach yet, but the Falcons need help in both safety positions; one is getting old and the other just isn't very good.
Only difference if we get the 4th pick is the order, Browns will take their hometown hero Quinn at #3 and Bucs will grab CJ at #4.

I really dont get it. I know that Calvin is amazing, but the key for this team is pass rush, we need Gaines Adams. Maye we can sign a good free agent reciever like drew bennet or something. This team needs a great pass rusher, like a new simeon rice.

Well, our biggest problem was STILL our offense in this draft. I want us to spend the first pick on a serious offensive weapon, and use our 2nd rounders, 3rd, and 4th all on defensive prospects. There we can grab a pass rusher, or we could pursue FA with a guy like Freeney or Justin Smith.
Calvin Johnson is just far too much talent to pass on, as probably the top overall athletic prospect in the draft. We'd be making a huge mistake passing on him if he's available.

You all are forgetting the bucs and browns are tied and will either be picking 3rd or 4th to be determined by a coin flip. So the bucs and browns cant be slotted right now.

Quinn is from Ohio and showed a lot of interest in the Browns. ND's head coach even called the Brown's head coach to make that clear. I think if Quinn falls to Cleveland they'll pick him up without hesitation.

Do you guys think that if cleveland picks 3rd, and calvin is still on the board (assuming that oakland picks russel, and detriot picks Quinn) they will take him???
I mean, they just drafted edwards 2 years ago and they also have winslow, which is like a reciever.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Calvin Johnson
5. Arizona Cardinals - Joe Thomas
6. Washington Redskins - Gaines Adams
7. Minnesota Vikings - Dwayne Jarrett

I was just about to put a t (for tie) after the number 3 and 4. For now it's straight, by the way it looks it doesn't matter to us who Cleveland picks.

they have Chester Taylor and to say their Running Game was non existent is to say you dont know what your talking about. their problem was cohesiveness with the O-Line, Taylor ran very well for them this year.

After hearing Gruden talking about retaining Rice and Kelly i could see us drafting Calvin and anyone else they feel will help the offense with most of our defense coming in FA pick ups and the '08 Draft.

Lol, try reading your own quote before you post next time. Then you'd have realized that 7th pick was the for the Browns, after they traded down with the Vikes, bnecause the Vikes wanted Russel. I don't agree with it still, but you should be focusing on the non existant CLEVELAND run game :p

Just because Quinn is the better QB, doesnt mean he will go before Russell. Infact Russell is more of an Al Davis type Qb.
