Anyone have this game for the 360? I'm ready for something a bit different than football and shooters. I would just like to hear if you've played it and what you thought.

I have it for the regular X-Box. It's an amazing game. There's a huge amount of powers, heroes and villians. It's quite long, too, so if you're looking for something with high replay value and a long storyline, this game will keep you occupied. It's a great game to play with friends, too, since you can combine powers to do a crapload of damage.
Definently worth a buy, in my opinion.

I got it for the 360, its a blast if you have someone to play it with. my Aunt drops off my little cousin every saturday and we have a blast playing it. as for the online on the 360...not so good. I have a great internet connection and the online is really bad. sometimes you play with players with bad connections and its really slow to the point where he evntually gets kicked, and sometimes, the game will get disbanded for no reason

I have this game on the 360 also. Definitely a fun game to play through. Has a decent single player campaign, with plenty of stuff to keep you involved in the game.
Haven't played it much since getting GoW though...
Still a great game to have.

Well, that sucks about the online, because that is pretty much the only way that I play mulitplayer. My friends are all spread accross the state and country, so not a whole lot of in house multiplayer.
Thanks for the input everyone, maybe I will rent this one first and check it out.

well it really depends...sometimes its great and not even a question...but sometimes its really bad and you can't stay in a game for more than 10 minutes without the sync going bad, basically meaning all players are no longer connected.

Try bridging your connection from the router to your internet connection, back to your X-Box using the ethernet cable of course. It should make you the host on all your on-line play by bridging the connection.

no trust me, its not my internet connection. 1, i have the hook-up of internet connections because 1 of my roomates work for the company, and 2, I rarely host and when the game gets disbanded, I usally try and join the same host again and people in general and they all say they had the same message.

I hear you, but there's a certain way to bridge your connection to ensure that you ALWAYS host any game regardless of how bad or good your internet connection is. I'm pretty sure that's the way you do it (in my first post), but I'm not 100% sure. Do some research on it or go to a gaming forum and you'll find out exactly what you need to do.

This game is awesome, me and my roommate just got done beating it last night. Didn't take very long but was a lot of fun.

This game is ok. I was expecting a lot more characters to play with. Deadpool is the only guy I always have in my lineup.

Have you ever played Xmen Legends before? Its pretty much the same gameplay. I love it being a comic book fan who can appreciate the characters, but the repetitive gameplay does become a problem.
I recommend renting it if you're not big into comics. While enjoyable, you may lose interest in it quickly.

Well, I was into comics when I was younger. I still enjoy all of the movies and such, but I do not have the time to try to keep up with monthly reading. We rented the X-Men 3 game, and it was awful. Beat it in one night, and the entire experience was dreadful.
I never played legends, but I think I will check this one out. As far as characters, I thought there was a ton of different characters? Thanks for the input and I will let you know what I think.

The game has a metric buttload of heroes and villians to play as and kick the snot out of. It's a great game, but I still think it's more fun with multiple people.
You mentioned that you're thinking of renting it first, and if you're on the ropes about it, I'd definently reccomend doing that first.
Here's a list of the playable characters:
Blade
Captain America
Deadpool
Dr. Strange
Luke Cage
Elektra
Ghost Rider
Human Torch
Iceman
Invisible Woman
Iron Man
Ms. Marvel
Mr. Fantastic
Spider-Man
Spider-Woman
Storm
The Thing
Thor
Wolverine
Black Panther
Daredevil
Nick Fury
Silver Surfer
Plus, if you get the 360 version, you get access to Colossus and Moon Knight, too.
