View Full Version : The Cardinals, Future Playoff Team?

I say that this team is the most interesting team to watch as they begin to rise towards the top.

They'll have a new coach, and WOW what a position he has. Young, talented QB, great WR's, and a great RB (has at least 3-4 years left in his tank). The Oline needs some help, and the defense needs to be rebuilt. Other than that, if I could have any opportunity to coach a team in the NFL, I would like the opportunity to bring some glory to the desert. They have a bright future, unless you think there the desert is cursed. I see Arizona hiring a defensive coach like Rivera or Whisenhunt.

I see the Cardinals drafting Mozes (C WV) in the second round (interior line troubles were the worst in Pheonix). In the first, they would love to see Thomas (OT Wisconsin) slip, but if he doesn't they take a defensive player like Adams w/ the #5 pick. They will also spend some cash in FA to get other interior linemen. I say they should re-sign Davis and think about putting him at RT if they get Thomas. With the addition of one to two Olinemen in the draft, the major focus will be on defense.

Hey, I think Arizona has formed a pretty good frame. With a new coach, they have a fresh start and could enter the playoffs. If not next year, then the following year. Perhaps the Bucs should look at what the Cardinals are doing???

The cardinals have a bright future, what they do this offseason will determine the next 4 or 5 years.

Yeah. Even though they finished 5-11, they had a strong finish. Alot of people in AZ would also like to see Kalil drafted as well. With him and Deuce at the interior they think Leinart will have some USC college chemistry in Arizona.

i don't think they're that good

they can't really stop anybody on defense, they've got the weapons but no line, they're about to lose their best lineman as it is

they may be the farthest team from good, even with their big 3

Sounds like the direction alot of casual fans would like to see the Bucs go.

This draft will determine out path for the next 3 years. We may not like the results on the field, even if most of us like the player that is picked.

We'll see. But w/some good coaching and a good offseason, things could quickly turn around w/ their core talent.

The Cardinals are close to having a good offense, but being a playoff team is a different story.

They are 5 players short of becoming a decent offence.

And about 8 more to become a decent defense.

I have heard this every offseason for 4 years now...they will continue to stink, just like they do every single year.
