Anyone play this game? I picked it up just after Christmas, and it's a blast. Dynasty Mode is definently a lot more fun than Madden's Franchise Mode, in my opinion. Nothing's more fun than taking a less prestigious team to the National Championship. I've got two Dynasty's right now.
One is Penn State, obviously. I've won the National Title twice with them, but they start out as a Juggernaught, so I have no problem murdering opponents, and recruiting the top talent in the country. It gets old kind of quickly.
My second Dynasty is with the South Florida Bulls. Since they start with a low prestige rating, it's difficult to beat good teams, and recruit top talent. I won the Orange Bowl with them in the first year, after going undefeated. (I narrowly beat Louisville and West Virginia.) I'm currently in my second season with them and doing pretty well. I'm starting Pat Julmiste at QB, since his speed is 85. It's essentially god-mode when you run with him. Running the option with a quick QB is fun.
Campus Legend leaves a bit to be desired. I haven't figured out how to control just my player, like you do in Madden's Superstar mode (which is the only mode I play on Madden), so I haven't really bothered with it.
I suppose the biggest fun factor is beating the Juggernaught teams with teams like Harvard. It's incredibly difficult, since you're outclassed at almost every position. In Madden, it's different, since all the teams feel evenly balanced. Some teams are weaker than others, but they all make up for it in other areas. In NCAA, the bad teams are truly bad, and the juggernaughts have superstar players at every position.

I just got this for the 360.. but i got lost in the beggining of dynasty mode, where you recruit talent..!?
I ended up simulating all of it, because it was so confusing..
Bummer now that you say that it was so much fun.. maybe i'll try a new one. after i figure it out.
But yes NCAA does seem to be better than Madden to me too.!

Chili, just so you know, text in signatures aren't allowed. The mods might suspend you if they see it, so I'd suggest removing it.
Dynasty mode can be overwhelming at first, but if you take it one step at a time, it's not too bad. When you first start a Dynasty and have chosen a team to coach, you'll enter in the pre-season stage. You can set your schedule and redshirt any players you want to through the Pre-Season Options menu.
Once you start the season, a menu will appear called "In-Season Recruiting." This is where you recruit talent during the season. You spend Recruitment Points on players to try and convince them to play for you. Of course, other teams are competing with you, so you have to do well.
Also, if you're just starting a Dynasty for the first time, I'd reccomend trying it with a Juggernaught team first, because it's a lot easier to play and recruit talent with those teams. Once you get the hang of the game, and what you can do in the menus and such, then you can try a less prestigious team, like the Bulls.
I also like the Rivalry Games. :D Having this in Madden would kick butt.

I have it for the 360. It is missing some of the features that the other platforms support. I still love the game because it is more detailed and in depth than Madden on the 360. I always buy both the NFL and NCAA versions , but this year I still think Madden on the 360 left a lot to be desired, but the NCAA was quite fun.
Dynasty is the way to go, and the Bulls have never looked better.

Make your own school and put yourself in a division like the Big East. I always take my high school and turn it into a college. I even was able to recreate the uniforms and everything.

I guess you could post it in the XBox Gamer Tag thread, Chili.
I thought about creating a new school, Gordy, but it takes too long. My patience ran out about halfway through the process. :o
I just finished season 2 with the Bulls, and won the Orange Bowl. I won it last year, too, and had the same opponent both times: Virginia Tech. I lost about 15 seniors, and Pat Julmiste decided to go Pro as a junior. I tried to talk him out of it, but failed. It's not too bad, though, since I have two QBs with an 80+ speed rating now. One was a transfer las offseason, and one I recruited.
My biggest problem is that it's incredibly difficult to recruit with the Bulls, since they aren't a prestigious team. This makes it difficult to get top talent, and also means you start with a really small recruiting pipeline. My pipeline now only includes Florida and Alabama. (In contrast, Penn State starts with around 6 or 7 states in their pipeline.) I'm trying to recruit a bunch of players from Ohio with the in-season recruiting, though, so hopefully I can extend to there soon. I've noticed that the recruiting classes usually have a severe lack of scrambling QBs, which ticks me off, since I love to abuse the Option with the Bulls. It's difficult to run it without a quick QB, though, so I usually have trouble finding good players.
How do you guys choose your impact players? For the upcoming season, my impact players are my HB, QB and LOLB. I chose my HB and LOLB to be my captains, which made them impact players, but I'm not sure how the game chooses the final impact player. Anyone know? It would really help in choosing which impact players to set.
