and here's how he figured this out:
- 10 websites, most of them have to be paid for to join. If you guess which ones I picked, you’d probably be guessing right.
- The Top 10 players from each position on all 10 websites are written down.
- If a player from ie “Mel Kiper’s site” is ranked #1 in their position, they get 10 points. #2 gets 9 points…...etc…..etc….etc… #10 gets 1 point. Get it?
- If a player was listed EVEN ONCE, he is on the list.
- All 10 of these websites were updated after 1/15, the deadline for underclassmen to declare
- Mel Kiper was ONE of these 10.. but I only ranked the players in his Top 32. So, Lawrence Timmons got 10 points and every other LB got 0. It’s weighted, and it’s fair. Like it or not, Kiper DOES control a few things on draft day.
- Needless to say, players ARE rising and falling at this very point
- This isn’t FACT. It’s just the mainstream point of view at this point in time.
this is just a good little thing to base how these players are actually ranked

if he does offense i'll find it too

I think going in the single digits was harsh and I'm sure that out of a 100 scale no one would be in single digits. I don't care if he's projected in the 6th round he still isnt going to be a 1-100 for his position.

what are you talking about

did you even read how he breaks it down?

here i'll use Mkistro Bruce as my example

he got a 1 because out of the 10 sites he used, only one had him ranked in the top 10 DEs, and they had him at 10

its a reverse scale, say 1 player was the clear-cut #1 player at his position, so much so that all of the 10 sites he used rated him #1, he would have a number of 100

if you're the highest rated at your position on a site, you get a 10, and if you're 10th rated on a site, you'd get a 1 for that site, and if only 1 site has you rated in the top 10, and you're rated the 10th best, he's going to give you just 1 point, and he put every player that recieved points up there

How about that, Leon Hall and Alan Branch the top at their position, lunacy!

It's a breakdown of how all 'experts' have ranked players. A compilation of what everybody thinks.

Though I certainly don't think Branch or Hall are great prospects apparently the other experts have pretty much come to a consensus and they do think that.

No surprise as far as DE's go, I stated 3 weeks ago when Jamaal Anderson was the 2nd or 3rd ranked DE that he was by far the best DE prospect and he has now ascended to #1 (barely)... After the combine and workouts he will continue to climb.
