QB
1) Garcia, Jeff <=Trade Clayton
2) Simms, Chris
3) Gradkowski, Bruce

RB
1) Williams, Carnell
2) Pittman, Michael
3) Graham, Earnest

WR
1) Galloway, Joey
2) Johnson, Calvin <=Draft 1st round
3a) Stovall, Maurice
3b) Crayton, Patrick
4) Hilliard, Ike

FB
1) Sowell, Jerald
2) Leonard, Brian <=Draft 2nd round

I would not touch the O line, Give them some time. The pass protection was great twards the end the just need to start making some holes.

The rest of the draft should be spent on D. We have some free money so we might be able to patch most of it up though FA.

We wouldn't need to trade Clayton for Garcia, Garcia is an unrestricted free agent... and soon to be 37...a decent insurance policy if his contract (a big if) is not huge.

Thought he was a RFA, so who can we dump Clayton on?

he's actually a UDFA... Undead Free Agent... as his career won't seem to come to an end

We are not going to be in position to draft CJ. He will be gone with the 2nd pick. Detroit will get an offer to trade out of that spot.

No way we spend a second rounder on a player who doesn´t fit Grudens system

You think they will bite? Another team would have to put up a lot to move up to 2nd overall.

Is Crayton a free agent?

He's a restricted free agent and I hope we will not give any of our pick for him

Personally, I like the thought of giving up whatever compensation we have to for an accomplished WR like Crayton to come in and be our 4th WR, that's a great idea, hopefully the Saints will offer him a big tender so we have to give up a 1st and a 3rd for him...

Crayton was drafted in the 7th round. So the picks would be a non issue.

Of course I would give a 4th for a receiver like Crayton, but it will take at least a 3rd and possibly a 1st rounder to bring him here. That's why I'm saying that we will not give one of our pick for him. Our 3rd rounder is the 68th pick in the draft. You can still find quality players with that pick.

Also, there's Hackett (SEA) and Wilford (JAX) who are RFA too and maybe for a smaller price.

Oh by the way, Crayton is in Dallas but I agree they will give him a big tender.

Depends on the tender they will give him

Ah, darn, who was the 3rd-4th WR for the Saints then, who am I thinking of???? Terrence Copper.... Gee, I got the first letter of the last name right, ooops.

So why is it again we would want to give compensation for TO's caddy?

QB
1) Garcia, Jeff

People need to get over their obsession with these short time wonders. Before this season, no one would've wanted Garcia as even our backup. Then he comes in and has a few good games and all of a sudden he's the answer? He's 36, unless you think we can win the superbowl next year, there's no point in getting him.

Simms and Grads have show they are both not ready. So who could teach them about the westcoast better than Garcia?

2) Leonard, Brian <=Draft 2nd round
No. Absolutely not. He might be a flashy runner, but Gruden has said he wants a pure blocking fullback. We'll draft the guy out of Alabama if we draft a fullback at all.
