Since the end of the season I have been wanting the Bucs to draft Calvin Johnson, but I recently saw some 2006 Wisconsin Badger games and let me tell you.....Joe Thomas is the real deal. I think he could change our offense more than CJ could. Joe I believe.....I'm sorry If I doubted you.

WR are always available in free-agency and trades. WR is also a very easy position to miss diagnos coming out of college (see all the recent misses). Very rarely do teams let go of a stud LT, and there has been far less many misses at LT then WR high in the draft. IMO.
I would take Thomas...hope he is there.

He really is the player I'd most like to see in a Bucs uniform next year. Sadly, there's a very strong chance he won't be available to the Bucs, especially if the wind up picking fourth.

Oakland's a lock for JaMarcus
Detroit is who's questionable, they may go with Quinn, Thomas, or even CJ.
Cleveland, if they get the third pick gets Detroits leftovers.
Tampa, pray that Thomas falls to four. Although we might win the toss and land Thomas. I think our chances are 60/40 of getting Thomas. All depends on who Detroit gets and whether we win the toss or not and whether Gruden wants HIM.

Did you guys see him struggle in the bowl game against Arkansas? He allowed a sack to the Ark RDE and a few pressures as well. The running game for Wis was nearly non-existent... He too has his flaws and he too should probably not be judged on his last game but that being said, he is far from a sure thing. I would prefer CJ or Jamaal Anderson but I wouldn't kick my wife's cats if we drafted Thomas, i just prefer others.
If Thomas were drafted my prediction is that A Davis would drop inside and replace Buenning at LG, Davis is even more of a mauler than Buenning and has niftier feet in protection.
I don't think you could go wrong with Johnson or Thomas. The problem is going to be what happens if these players go 1-2?

Trade down a couple spots and nab DE Jamaal Anderson of Ark or trade back 4-5 spots and get UT Amobi Okoye of Louisville OR trade down 15-20 spots and nab DE Adam Carriker of Neb. We need to rebuild our defense first and foremost but if the chance to nab a stud on offense arises then you take it.

Hello to Robert Gallery Jr, everyone thought he dominated in college, was a sure-fire pick and look at him now!

It isn't Gallery's nor Thomas's fault they played in the Big 10... That's not quite as fair as an assessement of the multitude of big 10 RBs that have busted out (particularly at Michigan) with Pace and Light being really good and Backus being pretty decent.

Here`s a crazy theory......... what if WE actually win the coin flip????? WOW!!! That would blow EVERY mock draft or prediction by fans or the "Experts" that I have heard........ You would think Cleveland`s already won it..........

Yeah, we have a 50/50 shot at winning the pick and yet EVERY mock has us picking 4th... What gives with that? Does everybody else know something we don't?

Oh I agree... the man's a monster...
I am a huge Badger Goober...
but we need to score...
Even having an All-time, All-Pro Dream O-Line that could use handcuffs on the D-Line would still not produce more pts with the bunch of rejects we have on offense
