Why is his speed in the 50s? It should be in the 90s....

Bullcrap, I say!

Seriously. I made his speed 91. Absolutely killer on fake punt passes...er...runs.

With that logic, Mike Vick should have 70 speed....

He's a punter. His speed is low for exactly the reason you changed it.

But it's unrealistic. Moorman runs a legit 4.3....it should be reflected in the game.

It's called game balance. Madden isn't a simulator. It's designed to be fun, not 100% accurate.

See: Mike Vick in Madden 2002.

Martin Gramatica's jumping ability should be 99.

I remember reading in an article a few years ago on the main page that Josh Bidwell threw 225 lbs. up on bench at the 1999 NFL Combine 21 times.

If I didn't trick myself into believing that or mistook him for someone else, then heck, Bidwell should be the strongest punter on the game. Even stronger that 'Steroid' Sauerbrun.

but in you know, in the real world, mike vick had a 1000 yards rushing.

I don't have any problem with Vick having a 90+ speed in Madden, he should, it is a reflection of reality. He is that much faster than most QB's -- most QB's are in the 60's for speed as they should be.

However, I do have a problem with his throwing accuracy. Just as much as he is faster than the rest of the league he is that far behind in accuracy. His accuracy should be mid 70's at best. His completion % last year was 52%, only better than Vince Young's.

. . .and I notice he always has over 1,500 yards on the ground to go along with 12 touchdowns or so.

If his speed was in the 80s, then the stats would probably simulate more accurately.

You bring up a good point, I don't remember the stats simulator being as wacky as it is this year (on PS3 anyway).

I just finished year 3 on All-Madden mode (But I don't think that matters for simluations). 18 of the starting QB's had QB ratings over 100.

Mark Brunnel threw 39 TD's and 2 Int's. E. Manning was nearly the same ratio, something like 41 to 3.

3 RB's went over 2,000 yards.

(and as the poster above pointed out, I have yet to play a year where Vick doesn't get 1,200+ rushing yards on 11.0+ YPC).

Yeah. It was like that on my Madden franchise, too, until Derrick Brooks hit him so hard Vick suffered a career ending concussion.

My point exactly.

Moorman runs on muffed punts...and most the time he gets 1st downs because of his legitimate 4.3 speed. If you're going to make Vick realistic(which as others have said...he isn't), then Moorman needs to be realistic, too.

all good points but in the end, this is madden, like someone said above, some of the stats are just unheard of.
