reggie bush is one in a very very few, speaking mainly of his college career. bush didn't need blockers he turned the opposing defenses into blockers as they tripped and ran into each other trying to get him to go out of bounds because it was that hard to tackle him. Dont compare him to bush... not even close...

did u watch the clips at all???? in his HS onetebow shook the living **** outta dude, tossed the ball at least 70 yds downfield, fit the ball in triple coverage in a real tiny window, and in the college one he was stiff-arming and trucking as well as passing and he trucked who many ppl thought was the best saftey on the board, laron landry, landry needed help from like 5 other ppl

and about the reggie bush thing, im not the one who made the video and even the video maker said he may not be as good as bush, thats a small chance, but he may be a bush type player

tebow to harvin..... get ready to hear that every saturday night in the fall for the next 2 years

Fair enough.

The real concern with Florida is whether or not their new starters on defense will be able to perform at the level of the predecessors. Noone should question Florida's offensive capabilities, but they did lose almost every single starter on their defense to the NFL draft. If the new guys can't step in and pick up the slack, they're going to crash and burn no matter how well their offense performs.

If we're going just on returning offensive talent, then Penn State is going to be playing for the National Title next year. They, however, are in the same situation as Florida. They've got a metric buttload of talent returning on offense, but lost of lot of their defense.

Michigan has more returning talent than PSU....And USC will be the best team next year...

As someone who has watched Gator practices (and obviously every minute of every game), Tebow has a LOT he hasn't shown the country yet. His release is a little slow right now and his decision making could be a little faster, but I hear he's working on improving both of those issues. Tebow is an incredible fit for Meyer's offense, so Legacy is right in a way. The question mark isn't on the Gator offense, but on the Defense.

That said, being the Gator that I can't help but be, looking at our round of defensive recruits and upcoming sophomores, I think we'll be almost as good as last year. Expecting more would be almost foolish, but stranger things have happened. We are very, very talented on defense. Don't be fooled. Inexperience is the issue.

Gooooo Gators!!

I'm still on cloud nine right now. I think they will be good for years to come just because I feel Urban is a great coach. If anyone can turn Tebow into a great player-- it will be Urban. Leak was pretty good, but I think it was the influence of Urban that finally helped him put the pieces together at the right time. Gators will be a threat in the SEC for years to come.

Experience is key, no matter how physically talented you are. Just look at OSU's defense this season. 9 starters gone and it showed when they played against teams with experienced QBs at the helm (Michigan, Florida).

What happened when tebow ran into Lawerence Timmons?
It would be like the Buc's lining Alstott at QB, except that Alstott is a talented runner.

he had 2 games where he saw extensive playing time at qb, which were ucf and WCarl and he owned them both passing

its true that those 2 teams are TERRIBLE, but he played like a experienced qb from the sec, u'd think he'd be a lil bit shaky but nope he was lights out and he got likw 4 passing atttempts per game for a 66% completion rate and 5 TDs

and on terms of th edefense, i remeber vs LSU everett had to go out for the rest of the game and his freshman backup played fine and so did silers backup when siler left for a game im worried about our FS spot and CB and d-line minus harvey

All he did was throw screen passes and little five yard routes and the wr or rb did all the work. I could have had those numbers against those defenses.

I'm a huge Gator fan, and I'm excited to see what Tebow can do, but right now he's just potential, he hasn't done much (in college) yet. But that's just because we had Leak, and Leak was a 4-year starter who played very well his senior year, and wasn't going to get benched for anybody. Tebow did very well in the limited time he played in the games, and it should be exciting to see how he does next year.
