Would you rather see Tampa take Calvin Johnson or Joe Thomas?

Calvin Johnson, unless Thomas can run a 4.35 forty , has a broad jump of 11'9" and can catch everything thrown around him.(colds not included)

Chances are Johnson won't be available... We would have to trade up to get him. I can't imagine ANY team other than Oakland passing on him despite their needs.
I see alot of teams who don't want/need him using their draft spot as leverage to lure a trade. Could be a player trade or multiple pick trade.. all I know is we need this type of athelete here. Nothing but possitives.
With all that being said, I would be extremely jealous of any other team who is able to draft Calvin because he is one of the greatest wideouts to come out of college in a LONG time. I don't remember this much Hype since Randy Moss.
Either way, If the Bucs don't get him, it will suck blah blah blah... but Joe Thomas would make us better for years to come so I could be excited about that pick as well.

Nobody traded up for Bush last year, and he was supposed to be the second coming of Christ.

Chances are Calvin Johnson will be available.I am tired of saying this over and over again and this is the LAST TIME i repeat this.
The raiders will be tempted to take him put the desperation for a QB which they dont have will make them select Jamarcuus Russel.
The Lions will not consider taken Johnson, this is because they have taken a WR the past 3 of 4 years. Why would the lions take him?
The Browns cant afford to take him, they need a RB. I know they have Lewis but he is horrible anymore so they need a RB of the future. They will select Adrian Peterson.
Which leaves C.J to Us.

I'm assuming it is because it was a no brainer that Houston was going to select him.
Then they made the biggest mistake in draft history.
This draft however, Calvin should be #2 on Oaklands draft board, They have a no name at QB.

Why don't you cry about it?
There are no guarantees in the draft. Why leave it to chance??
Who cares that the Lions Selected a WR in the first round 3of 4 years?? This is Calvin Johnson we are talking about.
The Browns signed Lewis to a one year contract... again, SO WHAT! Calvin would be the immediate #1 over there and help out his struggling QB. Did you forget that Jamal Lewis had 2000+ rushing yards before he went to Jail? There is always next years draft to get a RB.
Stop reading all these mock drafts that put these ideas in your head. Like I said, there are no guarantees... You never know.

Johnson would be the fan favorite pic, and no denying he is a special player the likes of which we have never seen around here, but Joe Thomas and the impact he could have upon our our offensive line and running game cannot be so readily dismissed. Either of these two player we cannot go wrong.

Damn basketball player right there... But has a football body. That's incredible.
I'll pick him, because that's the safer pick. And the better pick overall.

And when Reggie Bush fell to #2, the Saints were entertaining trade offers from any team out there, yet still nobody traded up (which includes the Jets who were at #4 overall, had two first round picks, and needed a RB). Reggie Bush was probably the most hyped player I've ever seen entering the draft, and he's a RB, a position that has more impact on the team than a WR, yet still nobody traded up to get him. Its really not that hard to believe that CJ will fall to us. Teams don't generally trade up into the top 3 picks because it costs too much, and I doubt any of the teams before us select him, so it is very realisitic for CJ to fall to us.
