It's a good deal for the bears. they have a QB now
yeah their QB didn't get them to the superbowl or anything
ogunleye is a premier defensive end in the NFL, and incase you didn't notice, the bears are a defensive team, they're not going to do something to run the risk of weakening that defense, especially going from ogunleye to anderson
anderson is good but his stats are inflated, he doesn't compare to ogunleye

This thread lost all credibility when Russell fell all the way to #9.
Russel is a ton of talent with questionable work ethic. He airs the ball our but his short passes aren't all that great. If you look at the actual TEAMS that we're selecting for, their needs, etc, it's easy to see how Russel fell to #9.
So you can stop trying to be an expert, players rise and fall every year on draft day in relation to where the meda has them.

Rouse in early 2nd, before Weddle?
Even I admit this is starting to get a little dumb....apparently it requires knowledge AND a solid 3 hour commitment to do a whole round.
Or maybe just not 4 teams per person, since we seem to not be capable of researching for that many.

Very solid points. 4 teams each is a little much. I realize under that kind of time consuming pressure, players can slide a little just because they slip through the cracks, but some of the things I have seen in this mock just make me wonder if anyone did any research at all, or if they are just guessing blindly with no knowledge of the team they are supposed to be drafting for.

Understandable, I've questioned some myself (though not my own :p)
Only pick I made that might have been a little far fetched is Meachem to Minnesota so early, but I'd argue WR is their #1 need, and I (and Vikings fans) think he's the best outside of CJ. Plus I traded down first (realistically I might add, not trying to trade Ogunleye and a 4th rounder to the Fins to move up and select Russel, that attempt was especially disconcerting) so they got some value. Vikings fans would have liked it :p

Unfortunately my latest 1st rounder was at pick 14, so i was forced to watch in despair as players slided way too far down.
I know something's wrong when we're almost done with the first round and I'm still hoping either Staley, Beason, Blalock, or Harrel will slide. Along with watching Spencer fall (which was partly my fault, he was my 2nd choice behind Harris for Detroit's #2, but their interest is far more in a good MLB, and Harris is the 2nd best in this draft).
Grubbs before Blalock was interesting as well
