This game just got about 40 times more awesome. :D Now I'll have to choose between Meta Knight and Sonic.

If it was 3d you could move farther back or come closer to the screen so it is 2d in the video game sense. (although all games are 2d because they are on a tv screen.)

interesting... basically I was talking about the character models that went from flat to 3-d shaped

This won't really make a difference to me, but this game should be cool just because I loved the first ones. I think I have a friend who is buying it.

I always used Kirby in the first but in Melee they made his piledriver weak so I started using Link.

Peach is awesome. No one could hit her in the last game. She could just float around the battle field and avoid the hot points until everyone else wore themselves out. Then she's got a surprisingly strong power fighting style and an element of unpredictability with her side moves.
