Let me know oif any areas I should improve in and if there are any guys I should look for on the free agent list for this week.

Wow, week 6. I had a lot of players on bye weeks, so lots of adjustments had to be made. I'm in a ten team league... Picked up Drew-Jones off of waivers last week... I passed him through waivers in week 3 or 4 or so when I needed the rosters space due to injuries. What a time to pick him back up eh?

My league also has individual defensive players where the points system is real screwed up. Two points for each tackle and another .25 for assists. A 100 yard running back with a touchdown makes less points than a guy with 7 solo tackles.

Well anyways here's my team...

At Quarterback (two starters)

My two bye fillins were (week 6) Cleo Lemon and Brian Griese. All I have to say is what performances for bye fillins! The picks don't mean much in my league and we have benchmarks for cetrain amounts of yards thrown, caught, ran, etc. Passing the 30 mark for griese was big.

My two regulars are Peyton Manning and Jon Kitna, two of the best fantasy QBs in the league. Yes, I took Peyton in the first. Yes, it was worth it.

Now on to runningbacks. Two runningbacks start in my league. If you remember my post earlier in the year I was loaded with backs. Due to injuries and unproductiveness, the bunch has weeded down a bit (no, I didn't pick up Ricky Williams). I'm down to three backs, Edgerrin James, Maurice Drew, and Travis Henry. All three of these backs are starting calibur. Jones wasn't earlier in the year, but he has picked up pace the last couple of weeks and is starting to look good. Travis henry may get suspended, but thanks to my Iphone I should be the first one in the league to pick up Selvin Young if anything happens with Henry's suspension issue.

Wide Receivers (maximum of 5 can start, two are WR/TE flex):

Torry Holt has been a ghost this year in my fantasy lines, but I continue to start him hoping he will soon return to his former self. I can't blame him though, as the whole team is suffering and you can't get the ball to a receiver if one doesn't have time to throw.

Patrick Crayton was a waiver wire pickup after being dropped by my cousin's team after a week of no performance (week after Terry Glenn injury). So far so good, been doing a lot better than Holt the past couple weeks.

Devin Hester was another waiver wire pickup. I picked him up the same week as Crayton, and guess who dropped him. You got it, my cousin once again. I've had him for three weeks, and have had two very good games out of him right now (30 return yards - 1 point). Another brilliant waiver wire pickup by me.

Santonio Holmes has been very productive due to Hines Ward being injured. Even before the injury, Holmes was having a good year. Another good addition to my great Wide Receiving corps.

Hines Ward was a waiver wire pickup who hasn't done anything for me right now. He was injured when I picked him up a couple weeks ago and still hasn't done anything. I'm holding on to him though because I know when he comes back he's a very solid receiver and will consistently perform.

Another injured wide out I have is Andre Johnson. Having two injured wide outs kills my roster flexibility becuase I've had to make a lot of waiver wire moves, which have turned out very well but I've had to deal with empty spots on my roster certain weeks where I can't fill it due to injuries and not being able to cut the player due to skill and the length of the injury. Every week I have hopes that Johnson will return and he has let me down. Early in the year he did help squeeze my first two wins out as they were both squeakers so I credit him for that. He needs to get healthy and he will probably go back to being my number one receiver.

I have to start one tight end, and I managed to pick up Donald Lee from Green Bay off of the waiver wire. Not much to say here, probably my only weak spot on my team. He has been having okay games for a tight end recently and with Bubba Franks age Lee should have a bigger impact as the year goes on.

My Kicker is Nick Folk, who I found once again looking at free agents wondering where I could improve at. Gostowski was my kicker before him, and after week two or three I decided to give Folk a shot since Dallas was scoring so many points just like NE, and Folk looked to have the better leg so I gave him the edge. Very good performance so far about 10 fantasy points a week easy.

I have Jacksonville's defense. Very satisfied with their performance this year. I knew they would be the top fantasy defense this year and so far they haven't let me down yet.

Individual defenders:

I can start two of any type defender I want, plus two linebackers/defensive lineman and three defensive backs. Defense is pretty much based on tackles as ints, sacks, and FFs earn about as much as tackles do.

Demeco Ryans, Derrick Brooks, London Fletcher, Kirk Morrison, Michael Huff, C.C. Brown, and Charles Woodson were my actives for week 6, but a few of the players I have are interchangable. Kelvin Hayden and Donte Whitner both have byes and are on the bench this week.

So far I'm 3-2, thanks to two nailbiter losses (I have the toughest schedule so far, no easy opponents yet) and looks like I'm a lock to go 4-2 this week with all the good games I am having across the board.

Four teams are going to the playoffs at the end of the year and it looks like I am going to be one of them. Barring serious injury problems, with my roster, I don't think there is any way I can lose this league.

I'm thinking about keeping Kitna benched next week versus TB and starting Brian Griese instead... Bucs have been punishing QBs statistically speaking this year. Griese is going up against Philly who's been inconsistent on both sides of the ball.

Thoughts?

I'd stick with Kitna. I think he has a lot less potential to really stink it up and get you no points.
