Round 1

OT Jeff Otah, Pittsburgh
I don’t see Baker slipping as far as some do, and I still would rather have Otah. Massive size, good timed speed, solid run blocker who could protect our quarterback for long time.

Round 2

CB Terrell Thomas, USC
Could be the best corner to fit our system. And now we have some youth.

Round 3

RB Chris Johnson, East Carolina
Could be the fastest player in the draft. Played RB and WR in college, but could really be a good change of pace back with Graham. He can catch the ball, run the ball, and return the ball. Some say he is too small, 5-10 205lbs

Round 4

CB Zack Bowman, Nebraska
This may be to low, it depends on who you talk to. He has torn his knee twice if understand correctly but with healthy, he is a top player. Boom or bust. If your one of the people who thinks this is to low, name another player.

Round 5

DT Kendall Langford, Hampton
Could be a real steal. Boom or bust type player. Good burst off the line, good speed. Could play LE for us.

Round 6

WR De'Cody ***g, Florida State

Round 7

WR Jaymar Johnson, Jackson State

Given the option between bum or bust I think I'd take neither.

Another undersized speed back that can't bust through the middle, and 2 late round wr's, one I know nothing about, but ***g has hands of stone.

I really hope we don't use another 1st rounder on the o-line. I want to take care of our reciever needs much higher than the 6th, and if we draft another RB, it needs a big, mean, ground and pounder, not another speed back.

JMO...

Graham is the pounder. Should be used more for goal line and such.

It depends, you look at KC, all that offense had was a great o-line, gonzalez, and green. Priest is an OK versitile back but put him behind another o-line and he doesn't do nearly as well.

I do think we need 2 young good receivers. Just get that taken care of so we don't have to worry about it for a while.

What makes you so sure Graham will be back? He only here for one more year on his contract, and that pays very little compared to most backs in the nfl.

Gruden will not make Graham the starter next season IMO. Caddy is supposed to be back by training camp, and if he is, it will be his job again. Graham at best will be the #2 guy, limited to 5 or so carries a game, while Gruden's boy get the start until he gets injured...again.

If you were Graham, would you be happy about that situation now that you have shown that you can play at the top level?

If Carnel ever comes back at all, I doubt it is next year. One year recovery to be able to use the leg at all, then another year to try and get back to football shape.

Regardless if Carnel plays or not, I think Graham will still see significant carries. I don't think he will be the main back, nor should he be. I think you split carries with him and someone else. Especially on obvious passing downs when you need some blocking or catching from the back. Carnel is even worst at both of those.

Its funny to see how high everyone is on the ECU running back after one game despite a rather anymous career

It was reported about a month ago that his injury was not a severe as first thought. The patella didn't tear off the bone, it just partially ripped, while still a very severe injury, he is already back, and rehabbing, and is expected back and ready to go by training camp.

I think Graham has earned the starting spot with his hard play this season, from the 1st carry , to the last carry, he ALWAYS gave 100%, and it showed. He may not a be a runaway threat but I'll take a steady 4 yds a carry on the ground any day of the week rather than a guy that averages 2 yds a carry until the 4th quarter, then breaks a 40 yd run to skew the numbers.

Best scenario to me is resigning Bennett and Graham for a good 1-2 punch of speed and power.

Some people have touted Chris Johnson as the next B Westbrook. I dunno. What I do know is that Chris Johnson is no longer some hidden commodity that's going to slip late in the draft. With his lightning speed and the bowl game he had there is no way he falls to the end of the 3rd.

He actually might get drafted higher than Ray Rice or Mike Hart.
