80,000 on the waiting list and no offers???
This was the point I made in another thread. Being on the waiting list costs nothing. It's a marketing ploy to keep selling tickts to the current fans (e.g., don't give up your seat 'cause 80,000 fans are ready to snatch 'em up). The real test is when they start asking those 80,000 fans to lay down $4,000 in March/April for a couple of decent seats in the fall. The Bucs will soon learn that having a long list of names does not equate to an equal number lining up to buy season tickets, especially with the higher prices and required seat deposits and contracts. If the Bucs asked every fan on their waiting list to put up $500 to hold their spot in line, the list would evaporate very quickly.
Good luck selling your tickets. I suspect that some fans on the waiting list probably want their own season tickets that they can hang onto for for years. Buying from a current season ticket holder is a year to year thing with no guarantees since the season ticket holder still holds the contract, deposit, and rights. If no one bites on the 1/2 season offer, you might try using Stub Hub or selling individual games. We typically attend 3-4 games per year and sell the rest to fans we've met and become friends with in our section.

I'm on the waiting list, and I will pony up when the time comes. For now, I go with some friends that have tickets. I see no advantage to buying someone else's season tickets.

For the whole 1/2? :)
No disrespect taken, but I'm not willing to lose 1/2 the money on the tickets. If I were going to do that I'd rather give the whole season to a charity and take the tax write off.

I won't do eBay until it gets closer to the season starting.

Depending on when the Packers game is, I'd be interested in those tix. Gotta wait to see the schedule though if it'll work with the wife's work schedule.

I haven't had a problem yet selling single games on Ebay. Won't use Stub Hub, as they rip both parties off. I will sell at least a couple games, but at this point I have no idea what games. A lot depends on the schedule.

I'm out for the Packers tix. The game is a month too early.

I hope you sell your tickets. You seem like a fan and a legit guy. I don't need them or I would buy them

Thanks for the reply, but I've had people paying face for individual games.
If there are any specific games you are interested in let me know.

The advantage of buying season tickets from someone before your name is called is no deposit. They just called me last week after 5 years on the list, and I could no justify paying for 4 season tickets and only getting 2 this year, AND im active duty away from florida so I would be eating the deposit, just to sell them all at face.. WP Bucs Fan is a good guy, buy his tickets!
