IMO, the best pro prospect out of Hawai'i's four WRs. This guy is a good route runner and really explosive on breaks and has good hands. I'm from Hawai'i so I've watched him a lot the past three years. A good 2nd day pick for the Bucs.

I like Bess better.

Ryan has some talent, but I'm not sure how well he'll adjust to the NFL. He does have good hands. Occasionally he makes a very quick move. I just didn't see anything special on a consistent basis.

Bess could be a good slot receiver. I don't think he has the potential to ever be a starter, though.

Both guys are out of the top 125 prospects.

Bess, actually got his 40 time around the mid 4.5-4.6 range on his Pro Day, despite pulling up lame on his first run. Grice-Mullen may have a bigger upside to him. The guy was a HS QB so he's progressively improved throughout and was a bigger TD threat than Bess for Hawai'i. But I see your point with Bess since right now his WR skills are one of the best in the draft. Bess was the only WR to catch every pass thrown to him at the combine and showed the same thing on his pro day. His body control and hands are excellent. IMO, Grice Mullen evolved into the more exlosive of the two as 2007 wore on.
