I started playing this online roleplaying game called Awakened Lands about a year ago and it's lots and lots of fun! :) I started playing it at work when I didn't have anything else going on to kill time and it's turned into an addiction for me. lol (or so my wife would tell you). It's perfect for work b/c it has a white skin you can choose in preferences that doesn't look like a game if your boss walks by. lol
In the game you are a citizen of a world set in the near future. Your person trains his or her stats up (Strength, Accuracy, Dexterity and Resistance) and those stats help you fight people, do crimes for money (make methlabs, steal cars, shoplift, mug people, perform insurance fraud-just to name a handful). You purchase weapons (axes, shotguns, rifles, machine guns, etc) and join gangs if you prefer. Gangs give you protection. Gangs can also war other gangs by attacking the other gangs hideout until it's hitpoints are zero.
I know it sounds cheesy and appears so for a day or so until you catch on but it's highly addictive and the most fun I've had in any game, especially since it's free.
I help run one of the most powerful gangs in AL, Valhalla. If you choose to sign up and give it a try and like it, I'll hook you up with housing, a weapon and armor. I'll help you out as much as I can. We're looking for some new warriors and internet junkies to join ranks with us. Join a handful of other Buc fans in some fun! Hope to see you soon!
