guy offering me torry holt and todd heap for santana moss and Anthony gonzalez? should I do it....If I made this trade, my starting wrs would be t.o. andre johnson and torry holt. as for todd heap, really no value there because the qb situation is terrible. my tes are dallas clark and eric johnson.

I'd probably do that, then try to peddle Heap off to someone else. Holt is very consistant. Moss is inconsistent, and Gonzo is good but at the #3 he can't put up very big numbers.
That, or try to counter for someone with a little more value than Heap. An upside/handcuff RB maybe.

I was thinking the same thing about for a handcuff rbs...but he has nothing there...LT, Bush, and sproles...literally nothing else but rbs who will be 3rd on the depth chart. Gonzo has tons of upside if marvin gets hurt again..but if he doesn't...total waste to start.

True on Gonzo, he'd be money in a keeper. But Harrison is great at avoiding contact, so I think he's going to be fine this season. He may miss a game or two, but I can't see him missing significant enough time for Gonzo to put up good #2 numbers like Holt can. Moss has shown to be capable of Holt's numbers, but I wouldn't bet on it. It's a little risk, but I think it's worth it for a slight upgrade.
Plus, AJ is somewhat injury prone. While depth may be good for that, if you've got another decent WR option on the bench, Holt slides nicely into the #2 slot. But if healthy, TO/AJ/Holt in the line-up would be lethal.

yeah I accepted. I was a little skeptical at first, but now I understand...he needs wrs. besides holt, all he had was donald driver and coles from the jets...he needs depth.

why? rams are gonna be bad, but at least they'll be throwing the ball. as far as the off-the-field stuff of wanting out...not worried.

Rams should actually be improved with Al Saunders and a pretty healthy OL. And Holt is consistently productive and healthy. I don't really see his downside.

biggest thing for me is while gonzo and moss both have a chance to put up similar numbers to holt..I don't have to wonder who to start and possibly miss out on points. I actully like my team now outside of my qbs:
Delhomme, Jake CAR QB
Leinart, Matt ARI QB
Smith, Alex SFO QB
Fargas, Justin OAK RB
Henry, Chris TEN RB
Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB
Westbrook, Brian PHI RB
White, LenDale TEN RB
Crayton, Patrick DAL WR
Holt, Torry STL WR
Johnson, Andre HOU WR
Johnson, Bryant SFO WR
Kelly, Malcolm WAS WR
Owens, Terrell DAL WR
Clark, Dallas IND TE
Heap, Todd BAL TE
Johnson, Eric FA TE
Longwell, Ryan MIN PK
Broncos, Denver DEN Def
Titans, Tennessee TEN Def
this is a td heavy league. 1 point for every 20 yards, get 2 extra points if they hit a 100 and 1 point for every 10 yards after that. also get 1 point for every reception from 7 on.

Delhomme, Jake CAR QB Good
Leinart, Matt ARI QB Good #2
Smith, Alex SFO QB : Dump
Fargas, Justin OAK RB: Dump
Henry, Chris TEN RB : Behind White AND Johnson on the depth chart
Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB: Good
Westbrook, Brian PHI RB : GREAT
White, LenDale TEN RB : Good
Crayton, Patrick DAL WR : Meh. Solid.
Holt, Torry STL WR : Good
Johnson, Andre HOU WR : GREAT if not hurt
Johnson, Bryant SFO WR : Solid choice, I like him this year
Kelly, Malcolm WAS WR : Likely won't see field much, will probably be #4
Owens, Terrell DAL WR : I love me some me, no need to say anything
Clark, Dallas IND TE : Top 6 minimum
Heap, Todd BAL TE : I think he will man up now that healthy and will be an outlet for whoever starts
Johnson, Eric FA TE: Why? Pick up a rookie RB or something
Longwell, Ryan MIN PK : yup
Broncos, Denver DEN Def
Titans, Tennessee TEN Def
See above. You could drop a couple bums and do something.

yeah i know, problem is there is literally nothing else because everyone right now has about 30 players on the rosters, cutdown is next week. then I'll have the option to upgrade some pos. trying to trade heap for a qb..might be able to get something actully good 4 him.
