With all these 1 loss teams such as 'Bama, Florida, PSU and the B12 schools; Why not take one of these teams to the NC Game instead of dictating the unfairness that's going on right now. Who is to decide who's got a better schedule.
PSU plays the Weak Big 10.
USC plays the Weak Pac 10
Florida plays the weak SEC(This Year, it was, admit it folks)
The Big 12 Schools are the only ones who played a decent schedule.
Utah played a few ranked opponents this year, so why not them?

If the program is really that good...they'll win their bowl game, be ranked really high going into next year (perhaps around top 10) and if they go undefeated again...they may end up #2.

They've had so many really good seasons now, it just isn't gonna happen.
They've only lost something like 14 games since the 2001 season, and they're still left out to play in the Liberty/Humanitarian Bowl.

They're never ranked higher than 17th preseason...and never move up any for similar performances as other schools...

That is why I really can't stand the BCS, I would give anything to have a playoff.

Play a tougher non-conference schedule. I know Utah scheduled Michigan and got screwed by the fact that Michigan was horrible, but they still need one more big time game on their schedule to justify putting them in the national title picture.
Same with Boise State. Need more than Oregon on your schedule to play in the BCS, imo.
Also I can't believe someone said the SEC was weak this year. Seriously?

You could argue that the SEC was weaker than normal, but to call the SEC weak is pretty ridiculous...

The SEC has 2 legit teams....out of 12 teams...that's not strong.

Utah has more wins over ranked teams than Florida, Alabama, Texas Tech, Penn State, or USC.

I think the fact that Georgia and LSU tanked at the end of the year has caused some people to peg the SEC as weak this year. That and Georgia, LSU and Auburn starting the season ranked in the top 10 and finishing out of it (LSU and Auburn ended up unranked). This happens every year though. LSU and Georgia both got beat up by the top ranked teams in the SEC and finished flat after being out of the BCS race. They were very good throughout the majority of the regular season.
I'd say there were 5 very good teams in the SEC this year.

No they don't.
Oregon State, TCU, and BYU= 3 ranked teams.
UF: Alabama and Georgia
UT: OU and OSU
USC: OSU and ORE
PSU: OSU and MSU and OSU
Bama: UGA
TT: UT and OSU
OU: TT and OSU and CIN and TCU
so, OU is the only team to beat more ranked opponents and Utah is undefeated on top of it.
