If a guy gets his hand on a punt, but the punt goes forward like 20 yards, is it a blocked punt?

Couldn't find it in the rulebooks, but it could decide my fantasy playoffs fate!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

no, its not a blocked punt. a blocked punt means the ball doesn't go past the line of scrimmage. it could be advanced by the punting team, but then it'd be a blocked punt that was advanced so-so yards. Your situation, as to what its called exactly...not sure to be honest.

Yeah, my league awards 5 points for a blocked punt (I hate the rule). Turns out you were right ATL, they didnt award the points. Now it is up to the Bucs D to contain Steve Smith and Deangelo Williams.
