I was thinking about this, usually Madden games like to incorporate new trends in the league into the game.

So I have two questions to be posed?

Is Madden 2010 going to have the wildcat package?

Should Madden 2010 have the wildcat package?

my thinking is that if they get that into the game, we may have something similar to the old game, of having people just put the fastest guy at QB and have them run. Madden changed it so you had to be a QB to play as QB, but this will take that away

Will they have the Wildcat formation? Probably. Should they? Absolutely not.

The developers need to stop adding crap to the game until they fix the damn bugs that have been plaguing the game for years. They didn't show an emphasis on doing this last year, so I refused to buy Madden '09 and I won't be buying any upcoming version until they prove to me that they're interested in actually fixing the gameplay.

yes it will be in

yes it should be in

i doubt it takes very much to do it

--------

that being said as legacy said, both Madden and NCAA need to sink some serious cash into gameplay....it does get better every year...but there is still lots to be done to improve it. it seems like with every problem they fix, they create 2 new ones.

I can just imagine it though, people playing this game. thats all people will run, get the teams fastest player and put him back there, like people used to do with vince young and mike vick

Shrug, when I need a few yards I put JJ at QB with the Bucs and just run PA bootleg out and run for a few yards, or 20.

It isn't even worth playing people on-line unless they are your buddies. 1 in 20 random on-line games are "good" ones...otherwise it is just a bunch of geeks who try to use glitches to win.

I think they had it in 09 but they took it out last min.

It would be fun to use but theres enough cheese online and someone will find a way so it abuses the CPU so im fine without it.

They should.

Playing against it will be interesting.

I haven't bought a new Madden since 07' (which i didn't like) and don't plan on it unless i see some people that are really happy with it. Madden has actually ruined my love for console football games. :( I'll still be happy playing 06'.

edit: 411, i'm still happy with 93' on the genesis for all i care.

i doubt it works very well....much like the pitch, screen, or single back running in all madden...the computer knows whats coming and they commit to that

One reason to use audibles. You get the defense to show you a front that you want and then audible into something else. Even if they commit they will be out of place and that extra second could be a huge benefit. Wildcat could be a great formation to use as an audible.

If you can't run the screen or run from single back...you suck at madden.

I haven't played Madden since 05 so you're saying that EA improved this?

I run JJ 100% all play. Well not run with him but he is my starter and finisher always.
