Killzone 2 also comes out on Feb. 27th if you're into shooters.

Street Fighter IV is out if you're into fighters.

Resident Evil 5 comes out on March 13th if you're into that series as well.

The new Gran Turismo game should be good, thats prettymuch the only game the PS3 offers that the 360 doesnt.

LittleBigPlanet is the best family experience i have spent money on since Rockband. I thought the kids were going to die laughing. It's very entertaining, and since you can create your own stuff and share it in the community it is virtually never ending. I played alot of the community shared levels and the majority of it is suprisingly put together really well. Get an extra controller.

Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone. Looks like some pretty good titles there. And I'm looking at Killzone 2 and Infamous, they both look like they should be pretty good in the next few months.

If you've never played Call of Duty 4, it's a must buy.....

Not sure if the online experience is the same now that it's been out for awhile, but the 1 player is a freaking blast....only problem with it is you can beat it in only a few sessions. But the replayability of the 1 player is pretty good.....I find myself playing some of my favorite boards when I get bored

I just got Tomb Raider Underworld yesterday......fun game, but very very very frustrating.

Fallout 3 is pretty good also.

I started playing this with a friend. I guess i'm the only one who has problems with it. First it takes FOREVER to kill someone, you have to go through all this VATS crap, and for instance when you shoot a super mutant in the leg with a rocket launcher it doesn't even show any damage. My friends don't seem to care... Then the AI is about on the same stupid level as Oblivion. It's just like Oblivion, but with guns and EVERYTHING is GREEN!!! That bothers me alot. The buildings, the ground, the guns the hud, everything. To me it gets really annoying. I like Oblivion, i like Star Wars it seems like a mix of the two in a way, but i don't like it. :confused:

If you've never played Call of Duty 4, it's a must buy.....

COD4 was amazing.....I am a previous owner of 3 Xbox 360's (all at different times, not all at once). COD4 was one of my all-time favorites.

Some really good suggestions in this thread. So far, I'm leaning towards something like this:

1) Call of Duty: World at War - haven't played it yet, heard it was ALMOST as good as COD4
2) Fallout 3 - games like this always interest me, gotta give it a shot
3) Uncharted - actually comes with the 160 GB system, so I'll probably go that route
4) NCAA Football 09 - have to have one sports game, and I've never been a Madden fan

On the list of future purchases right now is Killzone 2 and Infamous.

Thanks again for all of the suggestions so far. Some of the games mentioned I'll end up renting them to give them a shot.

I LOVE NCAA....it's really the reason why I got the PS3

The replayability is awesome.........dynasty mode is good for countless hrs of entertainment
