I got ticked when I'd fight Ali in the original. His matches always lasted far too long since I'd have to constantly chase him around the ring.

Then again...I don't know anything about real boxing.

I don't know much about this video game, but there is one thing that I know, without any doubt, is Ali had power, and plenty of it.

When Ali knocked out Sonny Listen in the second fight, he knocked him out with a jab.

You watch the Rumble, and you can see it in Georges face. Those straight rights that Ali was hitting him with hurt him. Hurt him bad. Led to the finish. George had a big time jaw. That is why it took so many rounds for Ali to get him out.

Ali had power, hand speed and speed period. In his youth, as Cassius Clay, and even as Ali, before his boxing ban, watch his fights. It just wasn't fair.

He would go 7 rounds with big punchers and not have a mark on him, because he was so fast, they could not hit him.

Ali, in his prime, would knock Tyson out in 10 rounds, if he never seen tape on him. 7 if he did.

I like Mike as a boxer, but he could not even carry Ali's socks.

People would agree with you 95% of the time. I agree with you. Ali was the better boxer and fought against the better competition, if you ask me. I've watched A LOT of Ali footage and love to watch his fights. Ali and Tyson would have been a fight for the ages though.

Ali would have prevailed but it would have been a brilliant fight. Tyson was no chump in his prime, pre era. If we're talking Ali versus Cleveland Williams, then yes Ali is smashing him in under 3 rounds. Tyson would try to tear his head off and Ali would have just absorbed the punches as he did his entire career. He was knocked down what, once, in his entire career?

Didn't Ali say he was going to knock out a guy in the first round, but the guy lasted the round and the fight was called after round 1 due to the guys face being completely mangled and bashed in?

Thought i'd bumpt this to say that the game is coming out June 25th. Anybody else going to pick it up?

Looks like this is the year for Fighting games. UFC and this? What could possibly be better?

And the music is probably the WORST of ANY video game EVER. Absolutely awful music
