Every year we have underachievers and guys who end up out of the league in 5 years.... so i decided to start a different type of thread
Who do you believe is most likely to be 2009s flops and why? Where and when do expect them to be selected?

On defense, I'll say Michael Johnson. On offense, besides the QBs, I'll say Percy Harvin and Michael Crabtree. I like Crabtree, but not being really fast or tall and having come from a spread offense, I'm not sure how good he really is.

I have my doubts about Sanchez as well he haven't played much and for a QB from college to the NFL is a big transition

I think people are so high on him because this isnt a good QB class, and they are over looking the bad things about him.

See Wes Welker. Same team. Same offense. Despite popular belief the spread can manufacture good wideouts. The spread doesn't manufacture good quarterbacks 99% of the time.
Percy Harvin
Jeremy Maclin
Andre Smith (has Robert Gallery written all over him)
Mark Sanchez (touring the backup market in 6 years)
Ziggy Hood (if he's drafted by a team with a 4-3 defense, he's better suited as a DE in a 3-4)
Darius Heyward-Bey (all speed and no soul)
Michael Johnson (freak of an athlete, conundrum on a football field, why isn't he playing Tight End?!?!?)
Josh Freeman (this years QB class is incredibly weak, and it shows when a QB in a spread/option system is thought to be drafted in the first round)
Clay Matthews (only drafted high because he's from USC and there's talent galore around him)
Brian Cushing (see Clay Matthews, Maualuga is the only true NFL calibur LB on that starting squad)
Beanie Wells (I hate to say it because i love the guy. But the guy is SEVERELY injury prone. I don't want to call him a bust but he's probably going to be on the injured list alot. )

Only true NFL caliber, yet they're all the way up to 1st round picks? So Rey is good enough to get guys who shouldn't even be drafted, picked in the 1st round? makes sense..
Andre Smith = Robert Gallery.....explain this one please...
And Wes Welker is a) faster than Crabtree and b) not taken in the top 10.....If Crabtree is Welker some team is going to be disappointed..

Well first of all he has only started 16 games. He doesnt have great accuracy on the deep throws. And I also think his accuracy is a little overated to begin with. Kind of throws behind the recievers. Not great arm strength. Just look at his combine performance. The two or three deep throws were all behind the reciever.

No one judges QB's by their accuracy at the combine.....no one.
they look for footwork and spiral..
Arm strength is better than Matt Ryan....it's not Stafford but it's plenty...

Well maybe they should judge it. I mean they have absolutly no pressure in their face, so shouldnt they get it on target. And on the deep throws, if you always under throw them doesnt that say something.

It's because they work with WRs they've never seen before so the scouts/coaches know timing is going to be off....they just wanna see how the ball comes out..
Pro days are for accuracy....and if you've been paying attention he's been killing it..

Welker went undrafted...Crabtree is a virtual lock for the top 10. The potential for bust status is far greater the higher up you're drafted. I mean I think Heyward-Bey will be a bust, but considering he'll go in the mid-later part of the 1st, he won't be as big of one if Crab doesn't produce like a top 10 pick.
And as far as the spread offense things goes, my point wasn't that he won't be good because of it but rather that it's hard to know how good he really is.
