Regarding the throwback jerseys:

Following the press conference, a select few of today's team were available Ruud, Barber, Ward, Graham, etc. as well as Selmon's #63 in an $80 Replica

Later in the afternoon, I saw they added: Brooks, Alstott, Sapp & Lynch in Replicas
and they also made available a customizable authentic listed for 182.99...I was all over it.
Just deciding on who I was going for...Selmon, Ricky Bell, James Wilder, Derrick Brooks...but it's gone. NOOOOOOOOO!

Did anybody know what happened?

That's interesting, because they were listing the Brooks jersey as "1976 Throwback Orange Glaze Retired Player Replica Football Jersey" key word there...RETIRED.

I think DB would disagree...as soon as somebody goes down in camp or later on...he'll be back playing for somebody, soon.

BTW, this stuff is flying out...quite a few items aren't available in all the sizes.

I think they pulled Brooks because he isn't officially retired. Sapp, Alstott and Selmon are officially retired players. I just noticed they jacked up the price on the customizable jersey by about $23. It was around $189 yesterday and it is $212 today.

You are right Brian. I didn't notice that. They also pulled the Selmon jersey, because they are probably already out of stock. You would have thought the Buc’s marketing geniuses would have realized the Selmon throwback would be the most popular jersey, especially since they are putting his name up on the ring of honor for the throwback game. You wonder sometimes, who is running things over there anymore. They probably have a bunch of marketing interns from USF working over there to save some money .

Even the 'Authentic' customizable jerseys will have screened on names and numbers, just as the players jerseys will. Even the Steve Young M&N jersey is screened on, as they were looking to stay authentic. The Bucs didn't start using stitched-on letters/numbers until the '95 season. The only 'authentic' jersey with stitched-on letters/numbers is the Sapp M&N 1996 jerseys.

The Reebok EQT throwback line has single-tackle twill stiched on numbers, but the numbers are a vinyl-type material instead of real twill like the pro jerseys. Also, the EQTs are the wrong color orange, and the jersey material is a cheaper nylon. Not worth the money, IMO.

It's a shame they won't be doing the sewn-on numbers for the throwbacks, as I feel they got the color exactly right. Look on ebay at the knock-offs, and you'll see everything from a yellowish color to almost Bronco orange.

btw, I saw Spurrier one on ebay, last january, apparently authentic. the size was 56 i fI recall it good . it went for over 400 $

Says they were discontinued on the team shop. My guess is they had a limited print run on it and now are ounly gonna sell current player jerseys, customs gone man.
