An amazing display of what a hockey game should be.

Madden should take tips, The new Be a GM mode is awesome. I've loved every second of it. Graded on how well your team does and how well you're doing in the trade department.

Is it a lot better that 09? I loved 09 that was my first Hockey game and won't be my last. So 10 is definitely worth the buy?

Been playin' this a lot since I picked it up and decided that it's entirely too difficult to stop them whenever they pass 428952829489429 times in front of the net.. They score nearly at will.. While I'm struggling to find my shell to score. Be a GM mode, however, is one of the most fun things I've played in years.

Overall rating after 3 days: 9/10.

EA always has the better game modes and bells and whistles...but from what I have gotten as far as feedback in the past and the demo....2k yet again trumps in gameplay.

When I finally get to pick up 2k10 I will share on how it is.

Picked it up last night, played in practice mode for about 10 minutes and then jumped right into team play. I like the new feature how it no longer aims passes for you, you can play passes off the boards which is pretty cool especially on the rush. Takes some time to get used to. I found myself just pressing the pass button and it would just go in the direction I was skating, rather than where I should have aimed it. It makes you play smart passes rather than just "button passes"

All the glitch shots seem to have been taken care of (until new ones are found of course) and the game play seems more realistic.

I'll probably play some 1 v 1 and BAP games tonight and see how that works out.

As far as 09 vs 10, can't really give a full evaluation yet, but based on gameplay in the team games I played last night, 10 definitely has the edge over 09.

In regards to the 45932543543 passing in front of the goalie. That would make sense. A goalie can't keep going back and forth. Play some defense and clear the puck :D

Finally figured out how to beat the computer with those passes, just by blocking the pass with the Left Bumper..

I'll add you when I get back from Penn State regarding on Xbox Live too..

Great game, I played in this tournament the other night and went 1-2-1. Beat the best kid there 5-3 but got spanked a few times badly(one was because of lighting with alternate jerseys, Never choose the Red Thrashers jersey when they're wearing black. Bad choice.). However, I did learn some things watching these other guys play. I have been trying to learn to get better with dekes still too and that's still taking some time.. My one friend can do this sick deke where he spins the puck around the defender one handed, absolutely disgusting and completely realistic.

I've heard in a few weeks.. the NHLPA is different than the NFLPA where they don't allow their players to be marketed until they've played a game in the League.

so the olympics fired me up and i traded in a few old games and got this one.


i haven't played hockey since probably '04 or something like that.

it is amazing how far it has come since then.

Never really have a hard time with laggers. Was it just one game or all the games you played.
